XFOR 26-28 & 79-80-FBs

XFOR 26 is split by UX 304. Illyana’s funeral is in UX 304, there’s a gap of three days between pages 4-5 of XFOR 26, and Illyana’s funeral is referenced on page 5 of XFOR 26. That’s the easy part.

As XFOR 79-80 explain, when Sunspot vanished in XFOR 28, he was thrown back in time, experimented on in XFOR 79-80-FBs, and then taken over/corrupted/whatever by Reignfire, then appeared in XFOR 26-28, XFOR@ 3 & XFOR 43 as Reignfire II. During this entire time, Sunspot was missing, and wasn’t found until XFOR 43, when Reignfire revealed himself as Sunspot… and then the Age of Apocalypse happened.

However, Sunspot appears at Jean and Scott’s wedding in X 30. X 30 has to happen after XFOR 32 (it crosses over with X 29) and before XFOR 43 (lead-in to AoA, crosses over with other AoA lead-in comics), but Sunspot is missing at this point; he can’t have appeared at the wedding. And we can’t claim that Reignfire was posing as Sunspot because Sunspot was missing; his friends were looking for him before and after the wedding.
