So I recently heard the (old, by now) news that Iron Man is getting a second ongoing series, which will be titled "The Invincible Iron Man" to differentiate it from the current series, titled just "Iron Man".
Hmm, that's odd. Because I could have sworn the indicia of the current series...
Yep. Even though the cover says "Iron Man: Director of SHIELD #27", the indicia of the most recent issue reads ... "The Invincible Iron Man #27".
Apparently it's been reading that way since #17. Heh. Boy, I hope they notice and change that before the second ongoing launches...

Damn, they caught it.
Iron Man #28, which came out just before Invincible Iron Man #1, reads "Invincible Iron Man #28" in its indicia.
Iron Man #29, which is coming out just after it, reads "Iron Man: Director of SHIELD #29" in its indicia.
I was kinda hoping they'd accidentally have two ongoing titles with the same exact legal name. Poo.

Re: A second Iron Man ongoing series
If it makes you feel any better, they just published two Amazing Spider-Girl #17s [the DM version of #19 has #17 on the cover. Dunno if that mistake translated to the indicia.]
Re: A second Iron Man ongoing series
That ... DOES make me feel better.
(Also, Young X-Men #1 says "X-Men: Legacy #209" in the indicia ... oopsie!)

It didn't. The indicia states that it is #19.Somebody wrote:If it makes you feel any better, they just published two Amazing Spider-Girl #17s [the DM version of #19 has #17 on the cover. Dunno if that mistake translated to the indicia.]
Unlike Daredevil Annual #5 (1989), on the cover and in the indicia it says #4, despite the fact that Annual #4 was published in 1976
Only three weeks on the job and already I live for seeing his forehead turn that shade of pink.
