I'm told that Tigra is also on that, uh, "team".Paul Bourcier wrote:Arkansas – The Battalion

Seige and Conquistador were also on that team, but were killed by Marvel Zombies (strictly, a zombified Seige was killed by his on-board computer after being infected).Paul Bourcier wrote:Florida – The Command
Aquarian
Jennifer Kale
The official team (which only lasted five minutes before being forcibly disbanded - and, one presumes, replaced) was Nighthawk, Colossus, Blazing Skull & She-Hulk. All the others were freelance, and not official Initiative recruits.Paul Bourcier wrote:New Jersey – The Defenders

Re: Fifty State Initiative
Thanks, Somebody. I had no idea about Siege and Conquistador, but then, I don't pick up anything Zombie-related. Is this depicted in the current Zombies mini?

Re: Fifty State Initiative
Wikipedia has a decent page for the Initiative teams: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifty_State_Initiative
It cites to the specific issues in which the various teams were introduced or mentioned, and has links to separate pages for several of them.

Re: Fifty State Initiative
Battlestar isn't a member of the Garrison. I know someone spotted what appeared to be his leg in the Penance mini-series, but when the Handbook entry on the Initiative was being written, we specifically asked about that, and were told he's not one of the team. It's either someone with a similar looking leg, or Battlestar was visiting his old colleagues.Lonewolf36 wrote:Vermont (The Garrison) - Fin, Man-Eater, Battlestar

Re: Fifty State Initiative
Thanks, everyone. I've corrected and updated the list. It will be interesting to see what happens to the program as it is taken over by Osborn's HAMMER operation. Dark Avengers will replace Mighty Avengers in New York, leaving Colorado open (if bases in 50 states even continue). Rosters of registered heroes may get a good shakeup.

Re: Fifty State Initiative
One final point - the Thunderbolts were never technically an Initiative team, they were a CSA team with a national brief.Paul Bourcier wrote:Dark Avengers will replace Mighty Avengers in New York, leaving Colorado open (if bases in 50 states even continue).
Their presence in Colorado put that state near the bottom of the list of states to get teams, but they weren't strictly Colorado's Initiative team.
Re: Fifty State Initiative
Also, I don't remember the Shadow Team being strictly assigned to Connecticut. If anything, with the Stamford massacre occuring in that state, I would think the Initiative would assign a more open team to represent that state.
Keeping track of Bendis References since 2001!

I admit to doing the "assigning" myself, since this is the only Initiative team we've seen operate in Connecticut. For all we know, there may have been no "official" team in Hartford, given the presence of so many heroes in Stamford. For lack of anything else, I put the Shadow Team as the CT reps. Also, I don't remember the Shadow Team being strictly assigned to Connecticut.

Re: Fifty State Initiative
Well, it looks like four more states get Initiative teams in A:INIT 26.
Delaware-- Women Warriors
Asp
Black Mamba
Diamondback
Skein
Maryland -- Psionex
Asylum
Coronary
Impulse
Mathemaniac
Pretty Persuasions
North Carolina -- U-Foes
Ironclad
Vapor
Vector
X-Ray
Oregon -- Force of Nature
Aqueduct
Skybreaker
Sunstreak
Terraformer
And it looks like the Shadow Initiative gets a lot more members in this issue as well. I recognize Komodo, Batwing, Red 9, Bengal, and Ringer, but who are the others?
