European/Other Countries Marvel Comics
Searching for info on the Woman of the X-Men Graphic Novel by Claremont and Manara, I came across some other European exclusives, such as X Campus, sort of a X-Men: Evolution type of thing featuring the X-Men as young students. Does anyone out there keep track of the different European Exclusives and by any chance pick them up? I've done some basic searches on e-bay and checked out the Panini sight. Maybe we could start a list here for completests like myself and if anyone could suggest a good place to purchace them that would also be appreciated.

Re: European Marvel Comics
O.K, To start with this is what I've seen
Spider-Man: The Secret Of Glass
Wolverine: Suadade
Dardevil/Captain America: Death On Arrival
Young Doctor Strange
X-Campus
Women Of The X-Men
I'm pretty sure the top three have been released in the U.S, does anyone else know of any other countries doing Marvel projects not yet released here?

Not a complete list, but you've gotJason Doty wrote:Searching for info on the Woman of the X-Men Graphic Novel by Claremont and Manara, I came across some other European exclusives, such as X Campus, sort of a X-Men: Evolution type of thing featuring the X-Men as young students. Wolverine: Saudade
Spider-Man: Secret of the Glass
Captain America / Daredevil: D.O.A.
all printed in English as a single volume by Panini UK, available in the US via Amazon.co.uk
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Marvel-Europa-M ... 787&sr=8-1
as is the aforementioned X-Campus
http://www.amazon.co.uk/X-Campus-Artiba ... 187&sr=1-1
though that's alternate universe X-Men, not 616, for those bothered with chronologies over being completist.
There's the last issue of the German Monster of Frankenstein comic, which had run out of stuff to reprint, so it did a new story.
Smash! #38, which printed a new Hulk story.
Spider-Man Weekly #607-609 or 610 (I'd have to check) had a new Spidey tale, which saw him encounter Thunderclap (who briefly resurfaced during Civil War) and then Assassin-8.
Marvel Italia did the 5 issue (#0-4) Europa comic, no connection to Marvel Europa above - I know an old thread here covered that.
They also printed Wild Angels

http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... %26ps%3D41
Fairly sure those are two different covers for the same story.
Hulk Weekly did a number of new strips to begin with, and the Black Knight strip lasted the full run, missing a couple of issues.
The Incredible Hulk, #1-6, 9-20, 26-27
The Black Knight, #1, 3-55, 57-63 - there were reprints around the 30 to 40 mark, but those also include small snippets of new material and information.
Nick Fury, #1-19
Night-Raven, #1-20 - reprinted in Night Raven the Collected Stories
http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/b ... &snumber=1
Ant-Man, #48-49
Night Raven also had an original GN
http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/b ... &snumber=1
and numerous text stories which moved from title to title: Savage Action Monthly #1-4, 6, 8, 14-15, then Marvel Super-Heroes Monthly #382-386, 390-395 (overlapping Captain Britain's run), then The Daredevils #6-11 (again following CB), and Mighty World of Marvel Monthly #7-17 (again, overlapping the CB run), Savage Sword of Conan Monthly (UK edition) #85-92; Captain Britain Monthly #11-12.
Captain Britain Monthly not only featured the title character, but several other new strips, of which the Cherubim one was set in 616, featuring the Warpie RCX agents he'd recently fought.
Frantic Magazine had some new material, but I'm not sure how much, and it would all be humour based.
Various annuals had new text stories - again, I can't provide more than an incomplete list. Marvel Story Book Annual was one of the earliest to include new material:

There was a new Time-Smasher strip in Rampage Magazine (circa #40, but I'd have to dig the issues out to get the exact run) - again, it tied into 616, as Merlin empowered the hero of the story and noted he had to do so since Captain Britain was busy elsewhere.
There was the French Silver Surfer story that turned up in Nova #25 and 26

Re: European Marvel Comics
If you want other countries and not just Europe, then the X-Men, Hulk and two different (afaik) Spider-Man Mangas have to be added to the list.Jason Doty wrote:

Well done Loki,
Are those titles the ones that Marvel put out as X-Men Manga years ago?

Re: European/Other Countries Marvel Comics
I believe so, though from what little I've been able to find out about the X-Men Manga, the Japanese run lasted longer than the English-translation reprints. Likewise with the Spider-Man MangaJason Doty wrote:Well done Loki,

which differs from the Spider-Man Manga that has been getting English-translation reprints in Spider-Man Family.
Afaik, the Hulk Manga has never been reprinted in English. I'm not even 100 % sure it exists, but enough generally reliable sources have mentioned it for me to believe it does.
Oh, and on my European list, I missed Superhelden Agenda '89-'90, a Dutch title. I think from the internal format and name that it is a school diary type publication, aimed at kids, but it included a brand new Spider-Man story. And of course, Spectacular Spider-Man in the UK has been printing new stories for several years now, one of which (the first team-up with Captain Britain) has had a US reprint. There's also been a reprint volume which should be available in the US via Amazon. Additionally, Panini recently did a relatively short run title, Rampage (not to be confused with the 1980's Rampage Magazine), whose early issues included brand new material, and is now publishing Marvel Heroes, again with new material.
Re: European/Other Countries Marvel Comics
In the early 70s, El Sorprendente Hombre-Araña in Mexico published some new Spider-man stories when they ran out of reprints. Turns out they didn't have permission to create new stories, and Marvel told them to knock it off.

Mexico had some original Nick Fury tales.
Star Wars Weekly doctored the Watcher into some pre-FF#1 reprints as a narrator.

The Doctor Who weekly did something similar, utilising The Doctor as the narrator.Enda80 wrote: Star Wars Weekly doctored the Watcher into some pre-FF#1 reprints as a narrator.
And the British Planet Of The Apes title reworked some Killraven/War Of The Worlds strips as Apeslayer.
