How did they decide which titles to do?. When/what should they do next?

I've no idea which titles will be done next, but I wonder if Captain America could be one, as they've already indexed the Tales Of Suspense stories. Maybe it'll depend on if there's a major movie coming out when it comes to choosing.Norman Rocks wrote:How did they decide which titles to do?. When/what should they do next?

Personally I'd like to see FF, Hulk, and Avengers.

I suspect it'll be a long time until they get to Doctor Strange, but I can wait!

It seems like series which have run (mostly) continuously from the 60s to the present will be first - after Spider-Man/Iron Man/X-Men, pick three from F4, Avengers, Captain America, Hulk, Thor and Daredevil, I expect.

After 3 months I'm about finished with corrections for the first issue of the Index (Spider-Man portion). Instead of posting replies I've been editing the last post with corrections, so you can see issues 1 through 52 without interruptions from other members' comments. Nothing against your comments but it makes for a cleaner look. Now I just have to go back and see how SM: With Great Power… fits, also a few stories from SM Family and a flashback from an issue of Fallen Son need to be added, in the meantime some applause would be nice .

We thought your post was important enough to sticky it.

Could it be that Dexter Bennett worked for J. J. Jameson at the Daily Dugle a long time ago and was actually created by Steve Ditko? In ASM # 13, '64, (page 14, panel 8) there's a member of the Daily Bugle staff with an uncanny resemblance to him. Marvel has the last word, of course.

It's not impossible - there's a preview spread going around from Bendis' story in an upcoming(?*) issue of ASM that establishes one of the nameless girls from a Ditko issue to be Jessica Jones. However, unless they do something like that, which firmly establishes that the character is the same as the background guy from ASM 14, we can't add it speculatively.Antonio Gaviño wrote:Could it be that Dexter Bennett worked for J. *Since I'm not buying ASM, I don't know for sure if it's seen print or not yet.

Bendis's story would be ASM 601/2, on sale in two weeks.

Adding insult to injury, the second story on this week's ASM # 601, by (who else?) Brian Bendis, suggests that Jessica Jones' awakening from her comma from Alias # 22 happens neither after ASM # 27, which was supposedly Marvel's official stance on the topic, nor after ASM # 36, where it should happen going by the Galactus scene depicted in said issue of Alias, but before Spider-Man's fight to the Sandman in ASM # 4. This of course would mean the Galactus fight to the Fantastic Four in Alias # 22 is not the same as the one in FF # 50 but a prior untold (forgotten? erased from everybody's memory?) fight. Way to go Brian!
