This follows The Trial of Thor
Thor and Odin fight Surtur and drive him away. They return to Asgard, Thor is still angry for being unjustly suspected. He leaves Asgard for Midgard.
Four years later, Thor helps villagers against marauders (vikings). Thor lives there with a widow Atali and her son Elof.
In Asgard Odin and Balder fight Surtur but Odin is wounded.
Balder comes to Midgard to ask Thor to come back. Thor refuses.
Three days later, Thor decides to go to Asgard. But he isn't reconciled with Odin and is tired of the Asgradian way of life.
He leaves alone and look for Surtur "for days, moons" until he finds him and hurts him. Heimdall witnesses the fight and informs Balder. Loki greets Thor and offers him two Asgard lovelies (Brigit) to take his mind off the farm woman. Thor is furious, strikes Loki and leaves again for Midgard where he finds the villagers dying from the plague. Elof is already dead, Atali dies. Marauders attack and Thor fights them as a god, villagers now treat him differently. Unhappy, he returns to Asgard where Odin apologises.
