Re: Naming conventions
Well, I think one of the first things people do nowadays is to go to a wiki, actually to google a character name along with wiki to find a wiki. And they would find Blaze was Ghost Rider.

Re: Naming conventions
On another track of the thread topic, anyone else notice there are a lot of characters with "Mister" as a prefix to their codename (Mister Fantastic, Mister Hyde, Mister Fear, Mister Immortal, etc.), but some of them are listed alphabetically as "Mister" and some are listed as "Mr.," which places these characters in different spots alphabetically depending on how that part of the name's spelled (which arguably could be spelled either way)?

Those too, yes, but more the ones where "Doctor" is part of a codename.Leoparis wrote:What about Doctor, Dr. and those who are listed as Dorcas, Dr. Lemuel ?

Re: Naming conventions
When "doctor" (or "professor," or "commander," or whatever) is a title for a person it should be abbreviated.
Good point on the code name use of "Mister" & "Doctor" though. Hmn.

Re: Naming conventions
Except for Professor X. I don't think he's ever been called "Prof. X" on panel anywhere. Though I think "Prof. Charles Xavier" wouldn't be out of line as that's his real name + profession and not his code name.Col_Fury wrote:When "doctor" (or "professor," or "commander," or whatever) is a title for a person it should be abbreviated.
