IRON MAN: KISS AND KILL (August 2010)

FLASHBACK:
Black Widow spends five weeks training Tony Stark to infiltrate a group that’s stolen an experimental prototype Iron Man suit that Stark made years ago. When Stark (in disguise) approaches the group as a potential buyer, his contact reveals she’s actually Sunset Bain in disguise, and that she knew he was Stark all along. She hacks into Stark’s brain and forces him to unlock the prototype that’s been stolen. Black Widow attacks Sunset, but she dons a Crimson Dynamo suit and overpowers Black Widow. Stark, locked inside the prototype, launches to attack Avengers Mansion. Black Widow grabs on and hitches a ride.
SYNOPSIS:
Black Widow hangs on to Iron Man as he rockets over the Atlantic. He explains the experimental armor is temporal armor, and that they’ve travelled back in time to destroy Avengers Mansion before the Avengers form. He opens his mouthpiece and she passes him a suicide pill; Tony having a heart attack will reset the controls and allow them to abort the program. When they crash, Black Widow jolts his heart and they find themselves back in the present.

NOTE:
Tony Stark has the arc reactor thing in his chest, so this should happen after the IM5 Dark Reign arc (8-25). Also, Avengers Mansion is still in ruins, so this should happen before it’s seen rebuilt in New Avengers v2.

Iron Man says they’ve travelled back in time before the Avengers formed, so this is most likely during their first meeting.

2nd Story:

FLASHBACK:
Glitch visits Wolverine, reminds him that he owes her a favor, and warns him that Shaw has hired her to attack Iron Man. In payment, he’ll help her find her family.
SYNOPSIS:
Glitch breaks into Stark Industries, disables Iron Man’s armor and steals a prototype. Later, Wolverine shows up, says he knows Glitch, offers to help get the prototype back and suggests they start looking at the Hellfire Club. They meet with Sebastian Shaw while Glitch steals the prototype from the Hellfire Club. A fight ensues but Wolverine, Iron Man and Glitch escape. Glitch reveals she was able to steal her family’s history from the Hellfire Club’s computers and returns the prototype to Iron Man.

NOTE:
The Hellfire club is no longer in its old location; they’ve moved across the street.
