Do we really not have a chronology for Boris (not the one from PM&IF, but Dr. Doom’s servant)? I guess not.
Looking at the Master List as a starting point, I can verify he does appear in the following comics, in chronological order:
BORIS
FF@ 2-FB
DSDDGN-FB
FF@ 2
SVTU 8
SVTU 9
SVTU 11
FF@ 15/2
FF 247
DSDDGN
The Master List also says he appears in these comics: "Astonishing Tales #8, FF 250-something"
I'm assuming the Master List means the third story in Astonishing Tales #8, because that's the story Dr. Doom appears in. However, I don't have that comic to check. Anyone?
I do have FF 250, and Boris does not appear there (FF 250 is the big fight against Gladiator).
The Master List also says that a Boris Imposter appears in FF 396-405 and the Atlantis Rising crossover, and that the imposter is actually Zarrko. We have Zarko listed as appearing in these comics, so that's good, I guess. But we should add this to the "B" page:
BORIS IMPOSTER
See Zarrko
The Master List also says that Boris appears in Books of Doom #1-6, but that's not in the MCP yet, so we'll ignore it for now.
What other comics does Boris appear in?
BORIS, Dr. Doom’s loyal servant

We have Zarrko listed as appearing for all of Boris's appearances since FF 258. I don't think DeFalco intended Zarrko to be impersonating Boris that long.

Yikes. (I don't think DeFalco intended that either, for what it's worth) Thanks!
Anyone have any insight on this?
What about pre-FF 258 Boris appearances?

Should we be adding Boris? The FAQ says this:
Characters who only reveal their first names are not listed, regardless of their importance.

That's superceded by this rule, also from the FAQ:ShadZ wrote:Should we be adding Boris? The FAQ says this:

Characters who appear in more than one title are listed, regardless of their importance.

Thanks for the clarification. I realized those two rules conflicted, but I assumed (for some reason) that the first name rule took priority over the multi-title rule.Russ Chappell wrote:That's superceded by this rule, also from the FAQ:ShadZ wrote:Should we be adding Boris? The FAQ says this:

Boris appears in FF 247- maybe that's what the Master List meant when they said he appears in FF 250.
