DD 122 Flashbacks

Daredevil, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Candace Nelson, and Deborah Harris all have Flashback appearances in DD 122, between DD 121 & DD 122. Foggy Nelson is only depicted in a picture backdrop behind news presenter Bambi Kepke, so maybe his appearance in DD 122 should be listed as BTS?

Anyone who read DD 121 already knew that Foggy had been abducted, though. We don't learn anything new about Foggy's situation in DD 122-FB or DD 122, so I would say no BTS for him. I mean, we know he's being held somewhere during the events of DD 122, but he's not taking any action to affect the story. He just... doesn't appear this issue.

It would be like if the Fantastic Four left the Baxter building in FF 1234 and Franklin says "See you when you get back; I'll be playing video games." Franklin then doesn't appear in FF 1235. The FF returns to the Baxter Building in FF 1236 and Franklin's playing video games, just like we knew he would be. Is Franklin BTS in FF 1235? Despite knowing what he's doing during FF 1235, I'd say no.

So yeah, we should delete DD 122 from Foggy's chronology.

Also, I see Foggy's parents appear in DD 122-FB-FB. Foggy's father is named Franklin Nelson Sr. here, but the handbooks say his father is Edward Nelson. Either way, I'm not seeing a chronology for Foggy's father at the MCP. I'm assuming this is Foggy's stepmother Anna (and not Rosalind Sharpe; I don't recall off the top of my head when Foggy's parents split), who does have a chronology here, but doesn't include this issue.

I agree about Foggy Nelson's non-appearance in DD 122. His parents only appear in a photo, with Bambi reporting that authorities are looking for them, so not sure that warrants an inclusion..?

They appear in a "recently taken" photo while vacationing in Switzerland.

We count video footage as flashbacks, and sometimes photos if they're able to be placed (meaning not some generic photo that Wolverine gives to Nightcrawler as a birthday gift or something). Since this photo was taken recently, AND it's described what they're doing in the photo, I'd say it's able to be placed.

As for Foggy's photo during the flashback, that's a more generic "file photo" type thing. Who knows when it was taken. When he was elected DA? When he first passed the bar exam? One night while he was drunk out of his mind? Last Thursday?

I see Foggy's parents appear in DD 108, and his dad is named "Edward" in #108. The mom also appears, and I'm assuming it's Anna. Also, the dad is very impressed with his own self worth, for what it's worth.

In theory, since "Edward" is named first (108 before 122), "Franklin Sr." just means "the father of the famous person you know" (Foggy was DA in DD 122, so "Franklin Sr." just means "the father of the DA").

Foggy's parents also appear in DD 166, as does "Porkchop Peterson." I'm sure that "Porkchop" isn't his given name. Foggy and Porkchop were in the Omega Delta fraternity together, it seems.

I also see that Foggy's mother appears in DD2 27, and she's definitely not Rosalind. I guess Anna gained some weight?

No name given. "Porkchop" is also mentioned in DD 185 as a member of a bowling league which Foggy once frequented. In DD 229, Foggy buys a Christmas gift for "Porkchop", but "Porkchop" does not appear in person. See: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix8/petersonporkchop.htm
