[Leoparis]

First story: "Overture" by Alex Ross, Steve Darnall and Kurt Busiek

This ongoing Dr. Strange story is not over so I will wait until a full analysis but I find the plot similar to Doctor Strange 180.

Second story: "Danger Room is Down" by Dan Brereton
Synopsis: Xavier, Cyclops and Marvel Girl have planned a danger room session with old & new X-Men to release tensions. Beast (an Avenger at the time) is also present at the mansion for this. Wolverine & Colossus first practice the fastball special.

This takes place between GSX 1 and X 94. There have been chronology inserts since that need to be accounted for.

CX 1 (19 - 32) is the first night after returning from Krakoa.
X:PSCHISM 1-FB is a one-panel depiction of the old and new X-Men in a tunnel. They stare at each other so I take it they're unfamiliar with each other. It best takes place when they leave the strato-jet hangar just before CX 1 (19).
In X 94 Storm says they have been together for barely two days so there was room for another insert.

(Admittedly the sequence of events has rough spots: CX 1 (19-32) Xavier knows that Jean is leaving the team. Marvel 2, Beast is present to integrate the old & new teams, X 94 Xavier is surprised the old team resigns, X 94 Storm is unfamiliar with the Danger Room, Beast is surprised to see the X-Men team has changed. Explanations: Xavier knew for Jean but was surprised for Alex, Lorna, Bobby and Warren. Storm is just surprised to see the room empty. Beast did not know his past comrades had left and that was his surprise, not the new team per se.)

Third story: "Leave the Demon, Take the Cannoli" by Eric Powell
Characters: Dr. Doom, Silver Surfer, Thing, Mr. Fantastic, Human Torch, Invisible Girl, Spider-Man, Gathonagog (demon)
"Some time ago"
Synopsis: Silver Surfer has been captured by Doom to be possessed by a demon. The Thing lines up for cannoli. Spider-Man also wants some for his aunt's birthday but he was delayed by the Green Goblin. Doom shows up with the possessed Surfer. Spidey and Ben free him from the demon but Doom escapes with the cannoli.

The Surfer describes himself as "a prisoner of this world" so this is before his 1987 series. The FF live in the Baxter Building, so this is before FF 278 (May 1985). The interaction between Doom & Surfer means this is after FF 61 (April 67). There is no sign of Franklin even though the family leaves for holiday at the beach. Johnny isn't with a steady girlfriend. Reed and Ben have their powers. Reed & Sue are not separated.

This is rather large a timespan. Due to the presence of the Thing and Spider-Man it is temptful to place this during the Marvel Team-Up/Marvel Two-in-One era but it should also fall in May for Aunt May's birthday, occur at a time when there was an active Green Goblin and when the FF lineup allows it. Between FF 61 and 278, there are only five times with an active Green Goblin:

ASM 66 & SSMMAG 2 is circa FF 80 (Johnny is with Crystal, no break for a Goblin encounter)
ASM 96-98 is circa FF 104-105 (Johnny is with Crystal)
ASM 121-122 provides no break nor opportunity for a fun mood
ASM 136-137 circa FF 149-155 (3 options: between 136 & 137 or, less likely, break between p. 6 & 7 or 8 & 9 of 137)
ASM 174-180 is circa FF 191-192, Reed has no powers, FF disbanded, leave Baxter Bldg.

Only the fourth provides a Green Goblin at large and a break for Spider-Man between two Goblin encounters. It also matches the Surfer showing up in Latveria: FF 155-FB (Surfer shows up in Latveria, falls under Doom's control) > MARVEL 2/3 (possessed by demon) > FF 155 (sent back to battle FF as Shalla-Bal is still hostage)

Fourth story: "Unphased" by Paolo Rivera
Characters: Vision, Captain America, Invisible Girl, Iron Man, the Thing, Spider-Man, AIM scientists.
Flashbacks to Avengers #57-58 & #76 (14:5): Iron, Man, Thor, Goliath (Barton), Ultron, Black Panther, Captain America
New flashback page 5: Captain America, Vision (protecting a hostage)
Synopsis: The Avengers, FF and Spider-Man conduct a rescue operation after a building collapsed.

The flashbacks and narration show Vision is still new at this. I place it after A 76 (the most recent flashback referenced) and I place the page 5 flashback earlier when there is a lull of Cap & Vision appearances before A 72.
