COB 201-FB is currently placed in the middle of Conan'se early adventures in Zamora:

However, this story takes place in Northern Aquilonia, far from Zamora. It is furthermore implied that this episode of Conan's life occurs while still living in Cimmeria. We are given two calendar references - Conan is "seventeen", and it is "harvest season". Unfortunately, the reference to Conan's age isn't much help and is probably incorrect (indeed, it is stated by the person narrating the story so we can put it down to misremembrance), but we can use the reference to the season to place it after the Battle of Venarium, which in SAVSCO 219/2 is said to have been "last summer". Indeed, according to COB 48-FB the battle takes place only "weeks" after Conan's 15th birthday, which I believe to be in late summer (in COB 233 (1-9), Conan is "several months" old and left outside to face the winter elements). Though COB 48-FB does refer to Conan's birthday as being mid-winter, this is inconsistent with all the other information, and as that issue sees Conan venture North into the arctic-like conditions of Aesgaard, I believe the seasonal reference can be put down to metaphor.

Add onto this that placing the story soon after the Battle of Venarium makes perfect narrative sense - Conan, still living in Cimmiera, slowly grows bored of his village life and wants to travel. It makes a lot of sense that he may have a little adventure in northern Aquilonia, which wouldn't be far from Venarium, where he fought just months before.

Placing the story between COB 240 (1-16)-FB [the end of Conan's adventures with Jormma], and before SAVSCO 83/2 ["early spring"] is the only place this can really fit.

As such, it would fit into my reworked Conan chronology like so:
