Note: In my opinion, the story is a bit ambiguous as to whether the "Good Green Eye" was sent by the Mother Goddess or not. The fact that the twice-dead Tammuz stated that "There was another" suggests that his first resurrection, when he returned to life in a monstrous form but with knowledge that he could use to help the village, was not caused by The One Below All who knows only hate.
