When I realized this I searched Google to see if anyone had mentioned the connection and sure enough in 2009 Flashbackuniverse mentioned it. And on Twitter in 2020 Nostalgic Exalted Speed did as well.
And I found two people mentioning it in 2022.
I'm just surprised it took me this long to realize it.
