An interesting origin/retcon in A 218. The Forever Man's life cycle is connected to that of planet Earth, and the life energies of the Earth keep reviving him. At least one of his past incarnations depicted in the issue''s brief flashback was alive in ancient Egypt. The MacNeil Hardy incarnation was born in the flaming ruins of San Francisco in 1906.
