Invincible Iron Man 12 (flashback): Tony's back from being away in IIM2 9-11, and meets Riri.
Captain America: Steve Rogers #4--which includes an image from FCBD:CWII, but that seems to be a symbolic flash-forward
New Avengers #12 (1-4)

CWII 1 (3-25): The alien attack, shortly after which everyone finds out about Ulysses' powers ~ New Avengers #12 (5-15) ~ Nova #8 (1-10) ~ CWII: Gods of War 1 (first scene) ~ Deadpool #14 (1-9)

Spider-Woman #10 (7-20)
Spider-Woman #11 (1-11)
Uncanny Avengers 13-FB
Uncanny Avengers 13
Uncanny Avengers 14 (Banner is buried)
Uncanny Avengers 15-17
[Uncanny Avengers 18-23 are not officially Civil War II issues, but they seem to fit here; also, Dr. Strange isn't present, but Wong is using magic! Yes, this means that UA3 goes directly from CWII to Secret Empire, but that's fine as long as the Unity Squad doesn't appear between here and there]
Spider-Woman #11 (12-20) (at some point within a week after UA3 #13)
Nova #9 (17-20)
Nova #10-11 (Sam has talked to Tony about his problem, so Tony's still around...)

Mockingbird 6 (1-8)

CWII #3: testimony at the trial

***GAP #5: 23 days' worth of trial, per Civil War II: The Accused, more or less confirmed by Civil War II: The Fallen, including:

Mockingbird 6 (9-20)
Mockingbird 7
Mockingbird 8 (1-19)
Power Man & Iron Fist #7-9
[I'm going to guess that Power Man & Iron Fist #10-15 happen here, because there's WAY too much magic flying around for it to be after the post-magic parts of Dr. Strange]

CWII #3, final scene: verdict is read
CWII #4 (1-6)
Invincible Iron Man 14 (1-19)
Ultimates 10-11
CWII #4 (7-16) ~ Captain America: Steve Rogers #5 (13)
Captain America: Steve Rogers #5 (14-16)

***GAP #6: a bit under two weeks, including:

Totallly Awesome Hulk #9-12 (7 and 8 are labeled as CWII, but are both flashbacks)
Mockingbird #8 (20)
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. #10 (non-flashback bits)

[possible placement for ASM4 12-15]

Guardians of the Galaxy 10 (final scene)-12 (1-10): Carol calls in the Guardians and they head to Earth (earlier GotG issues may happen here too)
Rocket Raccoon & Groot 8-10

CWII #4 (17-23): Carol has Alison Green in custody, Tony shows up with his army, Carol has HER army including the Guardians
CWII #5 ~ Captain America: Steve Rogers #5 (19-20)
CWII #6 (1-19) ~ Captain America: Steve Rogers #6 (3-7, 10-13)
Guardians of the Galaxy #12 (11-20), 13 (more or less simultaneous with part of the above)
Thunderbolts #5
Captain America: Steve Rogers #6 (18-20)
Spider-Man #9
CWII #6 (20-22), 7, 8
Spider-Man #10
CWII: The Oath
Ultimates #12

Invincible Iron Man 14 (20), "two weeks" after pp. 1-19, and Tony's mom hasn't heard the news yet
The first two parts of Venom: Space Knight #11-13 are labeled as CWII, and it could potentially go in the same period as Rocket Raccoon & Groot #8-10, but Flash's "it's good to be grounded" suggests that it's actually shortly after CWII is all over!
Time to read some comics!

I'm looking forward to seeing how this all pans together, because it had me a bit stumped while i was reading it all. Mostly because Bendis wrote CWII like it was all happening in short order, while others were writing their tie-ins like they had all the time in the world for events to unfold. Plus i was put off right from the start by the sudden unexplained appearance of Doc Samson, whom nobody even questions as to his apparent resurrection, when in recent comics, both Dr Banner and Deadpool had opened his grave to make sure he was really dead. Clive's outline is certainly a good starting point. I might pull these out myself, and have another read..

I think i've worked out the Celestial Destructor sequence..

Ultimates2 6 (7) [Skyfather’s Aspirants, his Astro-Gods, send a Dark Celestial to Earth to create chaos]

New Avengers 12 (1-4) [While SHIELD prepares for the invasion of the Celestial Destructor, Hill tells Agent John Garrett she wants results on locating Da Costa’s renegade AIM group]

Civil War II: Gods of War 1 (1-7) [Herc & Teen-Hulk talk in a bar, when they hear sounds of battle, and heading outside they see the Celestial Destructor in the distance]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 1/2 [Having been called in by Dr Brashear, Night Thrasher joins the fight against the Celestial Destructor]

Deadpool 14 (1-10:2) [Not having seen him in two weeks, Shiklah keeps Deadpool busy with domestic chores, while sounds of battle are heard from above; Shiklah assembles her forces, and they head to the surface with Frankenstein’s Monster, Jack Russell, the Living Mummy and numerous troops; Wade calls the Mercs, telling them he’s coming with reinforcements, as they watch the Celestial Destructor in the distance; Wade tells Shiklah the Inhumans warned the Avengers of its coming; Wade tells the Mercs that the Avengers have called in the Avengers of the Supernatural, as he heads out to join the Avengers]

Civil War II: Gods of War 1 (8-14) [Hercules & Teen-Hulk join the battle; She-Hulk tells Herc that A-Force just answered the call from Iron Man & Captain Marvel, along with the Avengers, X-Men, Inhumans, Ultimates, everyone; Herc then starts battling the Coming Storm, which nobody else can see]

Civil War II 1 (3-13) [Tony Stark’s Avengers keep the Celestial Destructor busy, when Thor arrives with reinforcements from the Inhumans, the X-Men, A-Force, the Ultimates, the Unity Squad, and the New Avengers; Dr Strange arrives with Scarlet Witch, Daimon Hellstrom, Dr Voodoo, Wiccan, Shaman, and Magik; Spider-Woman & Spider-Man protect some kids; Celestial Destructor is defeated]

Nova 8 (1-4) [Nova is put on his feet by Steve Rogers]

New Avengers 12 (5-15) [At the party, Hulkling & Squirrel Girl get a call from Da Costa telling them he wants to borrow them for a few days]
Deadpool 14 (10:3-13) [As the Mercs are cheered in the street, Deadpool gets an invite to the party at Stark Tower and he heads off to celebrate with Shiklah; miffed, the Mercs decide that maybe it’s time they went into business for themselves; Cable meets them at the Theater, telling them he’s not interested in the Avengers party]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 1/3 (1) [Damage Control arrives to begin clean-up operations]

Civil War II 1 (14-17) [Tony & Carol toast the Inhumans, who came to them with enough warning to shut down the Celestial; Tony, Carol & Steve gather the main heroes to meet with the Inhumans in the kitchen, where Medusa introduces Ulysses; when She-Hulk asks how Ulysses power works, Tony calls in Jean Grey]

Captain America: Steve Rogers 5 (1-6) [A Hydra mission in Sokovia is being overseen at HQ by Red Skull, Sin & Crossbones, as Steve Rogers learns of Ulysses and his precognitive powers at Stark Tower, and sends Red Skull a message to stand down the operation]

Nova 8 (5-10) [At Stark’s party, Jean gets called into the kitchen by Steve Rogers, and when Nova & Miles ask what’s going on, Steve tells them he doesn’t yet know, then Nova and Miles notice that Spider-Man, Iron Man & a lot of the Inhumans have disappeared]

Civil War II 1 (18-25) [Jean Grey attempts to create a limited hive-mind between Ulysses and everyone in the kitchen, but finds that Ulysses mind can’t be read; Carol asks Ulysses if he would be interested in joining the Ultimates, who are specifically looking for ways to stop disasters before they happen; Tony points out possible problems and asks Ulysses to tell them his story]

Deadpool 14 (14-20) [At Stark Tower, Deadpool asks Vision how they got a heads-up about the attack; Ulysses introduces himself to Deadpool; JJJ reports from the FACT News helicopter that the Avengers & Inhumans combined to save New York, and now they’re celebrating in style, but that if it hadn’t been for Deadpool and his hirelings, many New Yorkers would be dead; the Mercs are incensed at being refered to as hirelings]

Captain America: Steve Rogers 5 (7-8:4) [Steve orders a full cessation of Hydra operations and tells Dr Selvig about Ulysses]

Nova 8 (11-15) [Sam returns home late to find his mom waiting up for him; Sam calls Iron Man, but Tony tells him he has too much on his mind]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 1/3 (2-4) [Damage Control call in some favours and borrow equipment from Parker Industries]

International Iron Man 4 (1-2) [Tony asks Friday to begin a search for his biological parents]{Speculation here..}

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 1/3 (5-9) [Robin of Damage Control makes an offer for Trull and his mini-Trulls to work nights for them]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 1/3 (10) [Next day, Damage Control create a new ad using Trull the Unhuman]

Looks good!

I just read CWII:CS 2/3, which says that Moon Knight was/is in a lunatic asylum. So, MK8 DOES either happen during CWII or after. Yay!

-edit-

Also, as long as I'm thinking about it:
Hawkeye kills Hulk on "July 19." In 2016 that was a Tuesday. Hawkeye's trial was rushed and started (basically) a month later. Let's assume that started on a Monday; that would mean the trial started on either August 15 or 22 (so, mid-August). Great.

As we see testimony during the trial, they're labeled as "trial day 7, trail day 13" etc. "Trial day 7" would not be Sunday the 21st, but rather Tuesday the 23rd (because court isn't in session on weekends). So the trail doesn't last "23 days" because those are 23 days while court is in session. We need to add in some weekends, so it actually lasts 31 days.

So, Hawkeye kills Hulk on July 19. Let's assume the trial starts on August 22; that means it ends on September 22 (because September 5 was Labor Day, meaning no court, which means it actually lasts 32 days).

Working backwards, that means Rhodey died on roughly June 28 and Ulysses got his powers "weeks" before that (Let's say, the 16th).

Another (roughly) "two weeks" pass after the trial is over before everything wraps up, so now we're in to early October (let's say, the 5th).

So, overall we're looking at (roughly):

Ulysses gets powers (6/16) (see what I did there?)
Rhodey dies (6/28)
Hulk dies (7/19)
trial starts (8/22)
trials ends (9/22)
everything wraps up (10/5)

Yes?

Here's a bit of business around the Fall of Stark Tower & Rhodey's funeral..

FALL OF STARK TOWER:

Uncanny Inhumans 11 (16-18) [The Inhumans have continued to destroy Stark’s homes, his money, his toys, and his relationships; Triton makes contact with Maximus the Mad, believing Medusa has left the Inhumans open to attack by showing restraint with Stark, and that they need hit back ruthlessly]

Uncanny Inhumans 12 (18-19:4) [Maximus approaches Lash with his plan]

Uncanny Inhumans 11 (19-20) [Karnak reports to Medusa that the attack on Stark is complete, and all objectives were achieved, when they see Stark Tower explode]

Uncanny Inhumans 12 (1-4) [News helicopters fly over the rubble of Stark Tower, reporting the news in the early morning; Medusa orders the activation of New Attilan’s Fortress Mode; putting Iso in charge of the city’s defense, Medusa sends some of her people to Stark Tower to help out, then asks Frank McGee to accompany her in finding out who destroyed Stark Tower]

Invincible Iron Man 12 (1-3) [As Tony sits in the rubble of Stark Tower, appearing to be in a state of shock, MJ arrives with Maria Hill and a squad of SHIELD agents]

Invincible Iron Man 12 (18-20) [Tony speaks with Maria Hill, then Victor Von Doom appears and teleports out with Tony]

Invincible Iron Man 13 (1-10) [Doom teleports Tony to Cambridge, where he speaks with Amara]

MAY OCCUE PRIOR TO OR AFTER RHODEY'S FUNERAL:

Uncanny Inhumans 12 (5-17) [Lash, Mother Bones, Serrata, Grove and the Terrors initiate an attack the Stark facility in Switzerland, one of a number of attacks which have been occuring on Stark holdings around the world]

Uncanny Inhumans 12 (19:5-20) [The Ultimates arrive]

Uncanny Inhumans 13 [Carol orders the Ultimates to bring in all of the Inhumans, and they will sort it out at the Triskelion; Triton and Maximus get to the backup control for the city, where Maximus shuts down the lockdown mode, allowing in the Iron Man drones who have the city under siege]

Uncanny Inhumans 14 [Stark takes control of New Attilan; Triton surrenders to Stark]

RHODEY'S FUNERAL:

Invincible Iron Man 13 (11) [Crowds gather at the Mother Bethel AME Church in Philadelphia for Rhodey’s memorial service]

Captain America: Sam Wilson 10 (1-17) [The “Give Back the Shield” campaign mounts against Sam, while Senator Tom Herald gives his public support to industrialist Paul Keane’s Americops Initiative, over one thousand strong; Sam & Misty meet at the Mother Bethel AME Church in Philadelphia for Rhodey’s Memorial, the state funeral being held at Arlington; entering together, they meet up with T’Challa, Luke Cage, Ororo, Jericho Drumm, Nick Fury Jr, and Monica Rambeau; Ororo gives Sam apologies from Blade, who can’t attend as he’s dealing with something severe; as the others head outside, Sam tells Misty that it should be Tony giving the Eulogy, but she tells him Tony’s in no shape to do so, then suggests he suit-up for the service; Sam approaches the podium as Captain America, in front of a gathered assembly of hundreds of people, with the Avengers and the X-Men sitting up front; Sam delivers his eulogy for Rhodey]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 2/1 (1-3) [Kate Bishop sees America Chavez standing off to the side of the crowd and asks if she wants to talk; Monica Rambeau cuts out of the service, blaming herself for not saving Rhodey]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 2/1 (8) [America Chavez takes Kate Bishop to several other Earths throughout the Multiverse, showing her other iterations of James Rhodes]

Captain America: Sam Wilson 10 (18) [Sam flies to Arlington to attend the state funeral as some of the heroes gather at a bar after the service]

Invincible Iron Man 13 (12-20) [MJ locates Tony in his new lab, telling him his peers are calling him, and they all want to know why he wasn’t at the service]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 2/1 (4:1-4:2) [Having returned from Arlington, Sam joins the others at the bar, asking Misty Knght if she’s ok; Misty tells Sam she’s taking the train back tomorrow morning]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 2/1 (6) [After the funeral & wake at the bar, Storm checks into a hotel]

Captain America: Sam Wilson 10 (19-20) [The Americops begin their nightly patrol, and as some locals complain about the excessive force they are using, Elvin Haliday, aka Rage, tells them he has their backs]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 2/1 (4:3-5) [Misty arrives back in Brooklyn, phones her mom, and heads to the dojo]

Civil War II: Choosing Sides 2/1 (7) [After stopping the rain, Storm spends the day looking around Philadelphia]

*** And just a note here that Iron Fist appears at Rhodey's funeral, so his incarceration in Power Man & Iron Fist #6 must occur after the funeral. (As Clive_Reston notes, Iron Fist can't appear between #6 and #7)

StrayLamb, of course you're right both about Iron Fist's appearance at the funeral & about the Night Thrasher story in CWII:CS 1/2 happening during that Celestial Destructor sequence! Sorry about that.

It's worth noting that GOTG3 18 (Angela's solo adventure) takes place immediately after GOTG3 12--probably at the same time as GOTG 13 (from which Angela seems to be absent), and probably even before CWII 6 (20-22). It's a busy moment.

The period between the Guardians' ship blowing up (and damaging the Triskelion) and leaving Earth is roughly six weeks, per the 2016 Star-Lord series, which includes a two-week gap and a three-week gap. Monsters Unleashed takes place during that time, which means that most of Last Days of Magic, which precedes it, is during that time too! More relevant to the CWII-Secret Empire sequence, I suppose, but just putting it out there. (Do we see the Statue of Liberty in the course of either LDOM or MU? Because Rocket blows it up during that period.)

I think Damage Control keeps a stock of pre-fabricated Statues of Liberty on hand in their warehouse. :-P

CWII:OATH happens at some later point after Steve Roger is put in charge of SHIELD. CWII:OATH-FB happens earlier in the day when he’s actually sworn in. CWII:OATH-FB-FB happens “days” earlier where Captain Marvel meets (again) with the president (she met with him earlier in CWII 8 (35-38)).

I’m not caught up on either of the Captain America books, so I’m not sure how long after CWII this happens. Given the …themes… presented here, though… early/mid-November?

*

FALLEN happens “two months ago,” but there’s no “current” portion to judge that from (I’m assuming two months before Hawkeye’s acquittal, since this was published between CWII 4-5). It’s Hulk’s funeral and later a will reading, so it probably lasts a few days (in mid/late-July).

*

IIM2 12-FB happens “three weeks” before the main story and happens immediately after IIM2 11. I’m going to ignore that “three weeks” bit.

INTIM 1-7 happens after IIM2 12-FB and before Stark Tower is destroyed. INTIM 4-FB happens “one week” before the main story, and on the day after CWII 1 (3-13) (and so earlier the same day as the evening seen in CWII 1 (14-25)).

IIM2 12 happens shortly after Stark Tower is destroyed (which happened in UINHS 11?). The end leads directly into IIM2 13 (1-10). IIM2 13 (11-20) happens later, during Rhodey’s funeral service (seen in CA:SAMW 10?). IIM2 14 (1-18) happens at some later point, (shortly?) after Hawkeye’s acquittal. IIM2 14 (19-20) happens “two weeks later” and after CWII 8 (1-34) (either the same day or the day after).

*

CWII:ULY has a pretty clearly intended spot for it to go (during CWII 1, between pages 2-3).

*

ANW 8-12 (which spans two, maybe three days) happens at a time when Ulysses is in Captain Marvel’s custody, so sometime after CWII 2 (where Iron Man gets him) and before CWII 4 (7-16). CWII 3 (20-21)-FB has Captain Marvel working off Ulysses’ predictions.

*

CWII:ASM 1-4 happens over a handful of days, at a point when Ulysses is still with the Inhumans, after the Celestial attack and the following party. Also, this must happen after ASM4 12-18 given Clash's status.

*

CWII:X 1-4 happens at a point after the Celestial attack, after the Thanos fight and after Stark kidnapped Ulysses (“He’s already been kidnapped once – by Tony Stark no less --”). However, people seem to think Ulysses can be found with the Inhumans instead of SHIELD. Oop. Ulysses shows up in #4 looking like he does in CWII 4, so we’re closer to the end of this crossover than the start.

*

MOCK 6 happens while the jury is still being selected for Hawkeye’s trial. MOCK 7 happens the day the trial starts, as does MOCK 8 (1-19). MOCK 8 (20) happens “two weeks later,” but that obviously can’t be right. In any event, it has to happen after Hawkeye is set free (he appears).

*

AOSHIELD 7 (7-17) happens while Iron Man is abducting Ulysses. (1-6) is “one week” before and (18-20) is the following morning. AOSHIELD 8-9 happens later in the same week as #7’s end, and after Hulk’s death. AOSHIELD 10 happens a “few weeks” later. Phil Coulson is incarcerated between #9-10, so no appearances for him elsewhere (unless he’s in jail).

*

CA:SR 4-6 repeats a bunch of scenes from CWII so placement is pretty straightforward.

*

As noted earlier, RR&GROOT 8-10 happen after the Guardians are called to Earth by Captain Marvel.

*

SW6 9 happens shortly after (but not immediately after) CWII 1 (3-25). Captain Marvel hires Spider-Woman to look into Ulysses’ predictions. In SW6 10, Spider-Woman has been investigating the predictions and finishes up on the day Hulk is killed (she sees it on the news). SW6 11 happens very shortly after #10.

*

SQS4 9-14 & 15 (1-11) happen pretty quick (and time travel’s involved), at an early point in the crossover. Ulysses can be found with the Inhumans and doesn’t look like he does in #4. People have recently heard about Ulysses, so likely shortly after his “outcoming” in CWII 1 (3-25). SQS4 15 (12-20) happens “three months” later. Spider-Man is in #11 and publication order would suggest this is before ASM4 12-18.

*

V:SK 11-13 happens pretty quickly, and shortly after the Guardians return to Earth. I’m taking the previously noted “grounded” comment to mean “on the ground instead of in space.”

*

CWII:K 1-4 happens after FCBD2016:CWII (Rhodey is mentioned). Cap (Sam) is acting on information from Ulysses, so likely around the time of CWII 3 (20-21)-FB (before, though, because of Black Cat). #4 spans some time while Kingpin recovers from his injuries, but I’m not seeing any character overlap to worry about.

The Celestial Destructor stuff & Rhodey’s funeral were covered above.

I'm just going to expand on this section, which deals with the attack on Project Pegasus (which was an abandoned installation during Attack on Pleasant Hill, not that long ago)..

Civil War II 1 (26-27) [Ulysses has a vision and asks Medusa to call the Ultimates]

Ultimates 7 [Aboard the AFSS, Col. Danvers is contacted by the Shi’ar advising her of a major cosmic cube energy spike coming from Earth; Carol visits Project Pegasus, where she is met by Dr Adrienne Brashear; contacting Puck aboard AFSS, Carol is told that Medusa wants to liaise with Alpha Flight & the Ultimates; aboard the Sharra-IV, M’Korr is attacked by Thanos]

Civil War II 2016 FCBD 1/1 (1-3) [Rhodey drops in on Carol at the Triskelion, when Ulysses experiences another vision]

Ultimates 8 (8-11) [Ulysses describes the location, which Carol recognises as Project Pegasus, learning that Thanos will attack in three hours; Carol notifies SHIELD, who evacuate all personnel form Pegasus, and replace them with a number of LMD’s, as battle tactics are drawn up]

Civil War II 2016 FCBD 1/1 (4-11) ~ AMaria Hill takes-Force 8 (1-3:1) [Having evacuated all items of power from Pegasus, and replaced all personnel with LMD’s, they await Thanos arrival; when Thanos teleports in, he is met by the Ultimates & A-Force, along with Crystal & Johnny Storm]

Ultimates 8 (12-17) [Captain Marvel debriefs Maria Hil]

Civil War II 1 (28) [MJ finds Tony in his lab and gives him the news]

Ultimates 8 (18) [Iron Man arrives at the Triskelion]

Civil War II 1 (29-39) [Tony examines the War Machine armor, then he visits She-Hulk and speaks with Carol, who tells him Thanos is in a cell below the Triskelion]

Patsy Walker, A.K.A. Hellcat! 8 (1-7) [Patsy wakes up in the early hours with a notion that something’s happened to She-Hulk, so she sends a text to America Chavez, who teleports over & tells Patsy the news; Chavez gets Patsy into She-Hulk’s room]

Power Man & Iron Fist 6 (1-11) [At the new HQ of Heroes for Hire, Danny, Luke & Jessica watch breaking news footage of the tragedy at Project Pegasus]

Patsy Walker, A.K.A. Hellcat! 8 (8-10) [Patsy calls a meeting of her friends, including Howard the Duck, at Jen’s Law Office, telling them what’s happened]

Ultimates 8 (19-20) [NSA Agent Vogt reports to the US Security Council]
Out in the Land Down-Under, beneath a rocky outcrop, deep within the back paddock, dwells the Stray Lamb.

Re: CIVIL WAR II

Post by Col_Fury »

Thanks!

SM2 3 (19-20) & 4-6 happens at some point after the Celestial Destructor sequence and the following party.

SM2 7 (1-17) happens after Ulysses’ Hulk vision, and later in the same week as SM2 4-6. SM2 7 (18-20) happens on another day shortly after, on July 19 before the Hulk is killed.

SM2 8 (1-14) picks up from the end of #7 and leads directly in to CWII 3-FB. SM2 8 (15-16) repeats CWII 3-FB. SM2 8 (17-20) happens right after CWII 3-FB.

SM2 9 happens between CWII 6-7, and SM2 10 happens very shortly after CWII 8 (1-34).

*

CA:SAMW 11-13 happen over a few days. CA:SAMW 11 has Iron Man trying to get Sam on his side while CA:SAMW 11-FB had Captain Marvel trying to get Sam on her side. Iron Man makes it sound like Captain Marvel has unfettered access to Ulysses, so probably around the time of CWII 3 (20-21)-FB.

*

NO6 10-11 is at “the end of the school year.” I’m just going to shrug and say Sam had to take summer classes and put this in “late July.” Also, Iron Man’s still around to be chatting with, so before the end of CWII 8.

*

ANADA 13 only has a bit in the present day. Vision chats with Ulysses (who is with SHIELD), then secretly uses Doom’s time platform being stored in the Baxter Building. Black Panther & Spider-Man also both appear (so before CWII 6 where Black Panther leaves Captain Marvel’s “side”). Doom’s time platform in the Baxter Building is also a plot point in SQS4 9-15, where the room it’s stored in is wrecked. ANADA 13 should probably happen first. (this issue also says it’s been 132 days since A6 0, but, eh)

ANADA 14 happens in a day, on July 19. The Wasps hear the breaking news about Hulk’s death on TV. Also, the bad guys are WHISPER from NA4, so I should probably read that next.

ANADA 15 is a chat between Thor and Heimdall. Nothing really to place it with beyond “during CWII.”

*

NA4 13-17 picks up shortly after #12’s end, happens during Hawkeye’s trial and spans… hours? WHISPER is defeated, so after ANADA 14 (which works, because that’s right after Hulk’s death and this is during Hawkeye’s trial. Yay!)

NA4 18 is Sunspot’s “funeral,” which John Garret said in NA4 13-17 was supposed to happen in a month (according to Ulysses’ prediction). Even though Sunspot said last issue that the plan for this issue was starting “now,” I’m sure it took a little bit to line things up. So yeah, a month later works. Also, this issue happens before TB3 7 according to an editor’s note.

*

MSM4 7 is a quick adventure with a cameo by Ulysses. Probably right after CWII:ULY 1-3.

MSM4 8-11 spans “weeks” according to #11. MSM4 8 (1-16) is one day, Ms. Marvel already knows about Ulysses so after CWII 1 (3-25). MSM4 8 (17-20) & 9 (one day) happens at some later point. MSM4 10 & 11 (1-5) is the next day. MSM4 11 (6-20) is the following day. In these issues Ms. Marvel starts off agreeing with Captain Marvel but ends up leaning toward Iron Man. Following CWII 3-FB, Ms. Marvel (and the other ANADA kids) definitely side with Iron Man. Nothing is said about the Hulk here, so I’m going to say that MSM4 8 (17-20) & 9-11 takes place in the few days between FCBD2016:CWII and CWII 3-FB. MSM4 8 (1-16) would be “weeks” earlier, shortly after CWII 1 (3-25).

While answering a point raised in the Secret Wars to Civil War II topic, i noticed that Squadron Supreme 8 has a significant gap between pages 9 & 10. Dr Spectrum changes her costume in the second half of Squadron Supreme 8, from page 10 onwards, which takes place during CWII. In this section, Toro comments on having consulted an Inhuman oracle who recently arrived in New Attilan, placing SQS4 8 (10-20) early in CWII, while Ulysses is still with Medusa..

I'd guess after CWII:ULY 1-3, around the time of MSM4 7.

*

CM8 6 is pre-FCBD2016:CWII (Rhodey’s alive) and after CWII 1 (3-25) (there’s a recap flashback).

CM8 7-FB & CM8 7 are after FCBD2016:CWII & CA:SAMW 10 (Rhodey’s “dead and buried”). It’s also after CWII 3-FB (Hulk’s death is vaguely referenced and an editor’s note tells us to read CWII 3 to find out what they’re talking about). Also, Captain Marvel convinced Ulysses to continue working with her after CWII 3-FB here.

CM8 8 is expressly after CWII 3-FB and Ms. Marvel is still on Captain Marvel’s side, so we’ll have to adjust MSM4 9-11’s placement. Ulysses is now looking like he does in CWII 4. This is also before Hawkeye’s trial starts.

CM8 9-10 has Ms. Marvel no longer on Captain Marvel’s side, so MSM4 9-11 goes between CM8 8-9. Also, CM8 9 is after CWII:X 1-4. Ulysses appears again, but this time he’s back in casual clothes. CM8 10 (20-30) is “two weeks later” and the Triskelion is under repair (so after CWII 6?).

*

SCRW2 9 happens over maybe an hour. Shortly after Rhodey’s death and likely before Hulk’s. Quicksilver guest stars.

*

TB3 5-6 happen in a day. Winter Soldier goes after Spider-Miles when he hears about Ulysses’ vision that Spider-Man will kill Captain America.

TB3 7 has Maria Hill still as acting director of SHIELD, so before CWII:OATH. Also, it seems to be very shortly after TB3 5-6 (like, the next day or so). Ends on a cliffhanger so I’ll need to read some more…

*

UA3 13 (1) recaps CWII 3-FB, UA3 13 (2) happens right after (Deadpool makes a comment as Hawkeye is taken away). UA3 13 (3) is likely the next day. UA3 13 (4-13) has Deadpool breaking in to the prison to free Hawkeye, who declines. SW6 11 has Hawkeye being held up in the Alpha Flight space station, so I’ll say UA3 13 happens first and that’s why Hawkeye is moved (-edit- SW6 11 references this, so hey, look at that). UA3 13 (14-15)-FB is “24 hours ago” and likely happens between pages 2-3. UA3 13 (16-20) are back to the same day as UA3 13 (4-13).

UA3 14 is Hulk’s funeral (so same day as FALLEN). Quicksilver’s leg is still broken, so UA3 9-12 (where it’s broken) has to happen after SCRW2 9.

It's possible that HTD5 5 (19-20), 8-10, 11 (1-19) (Galactus now gold) ("classic" Dr. Strange), which we have listed in Secret Wars to Civil War II, may be better placed in this section.

It's specifically stated to be July, and it's possible that the Big Super-Hero Battle that Johnny Storm and others are going to is the confrontation with Bruce Banner.. just a theory..

Which issue of HTD5 is the "Big Super-Hero Battle that Johnny Storm and others are going to in" referenced in? (just so I can check)

I recall a July/September (indicia in-joke?) discussion in one of the HTD5 comics...
