FCBD2017:SECEMP /2 takes place at some point before PPSSM2 1, and happens over maybe 20 minutes. PPSSM2 1-5 happens after ASM4 28 (Jonah is no longer with the Fact Channel) and before SECEMP (SHIELD is still around). Also, Flash Thompson says this is after V 150 (the second story, as it turns out).

There looks to be a gap of time between PPSSM2 5-6; Spider-Man’s back in his classic suit in #6 (to be fair, this could be a one-off for the occasion) and the plot leads directly into PPSSM 297. PPSSM2 6 has Jonah interviewing Spider-Man which was supposed to be set up following PPSSM2 5, but maybe SECEMP delayed things? Meaning, PPSSM2 1-5 may be shortly before SECEMP starts.

V 150/2 starts “weeks ago” and shows how the symbiote was separated from Flash Thompson, and leads pretty much right into V3 1. V3 1-6 & V 150 happen over a few days, maybe a week. Black Cat appears as a crime lord. Tombstone is -BTS. V 151 happens the day after V 150, and V 151-153 happens over a day or two. There’s a nice big break between V 153-154, so that’s likely where SECEMP goes. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur appear in V 152-153.

I haven’t read Venomverse or Edge of Venomverse yet, but it LOOKS like it goes at least after V 153. Edge was published during SECEMP and Venomverse was published after. I’m very tempted to say the whole thing is after SECEMP without even looking at it.

SGWEN2 9-12 deals with Spider-Gwen’s wonky powers. This isn’t mentioned at all when she appears in other books from what I’ve seen. SGWEN2 13 is on Halloween. SGWEN2 14 is on Thanksgiving and Spider-Woman (616) appears (same month as SW6 13, must be before that because Jessica and Roger aren’t dating yet here). SGWEN2 15 is around Christmas. I’m going to say that Earth-65’s calendar isn’t lined up with Earth-616’s.

SM2 11 has Spider-Miles’ dad going back to work for SHIELD. Maria Hill is still with SHIELD, so this is before CWII:OATH. SM2 12-FB-FB mentions its shortly after CWII. As is Venomverse 1-5, except for the opening scenes of issue 1, and part of the closing scenes of issue 5, both of which involve Eddie Brock/Venom. The stories are important, however, as they lead directly into the X-Men Blue Annual, X-Men Blue 21-28, Venom 162-163, and Venomized 1-5. All of this is post-Secret Empire.

GR8 1-5 guest stars Wolverine (same as ANW 14-18), Teen Hulk (TAH 12-17) and Silk (SILK2 14-18). It all happens over a few days. Stories end in ANW 18, TAH 18 and SILK2 18. Published after the Ghost Rider X-Mas Special Infinite Comic (printed as AYOM/ /11), and should probably go after that.

ROCKET 1-6 happens after the Guardians leave Earth. Star-Lord says in #6 that it’s been a week since some unseen adventure. Groot is mentioned but nothing is said about if he’s tiny or not. Probably before that happens.

IGROOT 1-5 has Groot already tiny and Drax already a pacifist.

DS&SSS 1-12 is one big story that happens at some point after Last Days of Magic. The Avengers appear in #7-8 (same month as A6 7-8) as does Luke Cage (before his solo book starts).

NF 1-6 has to happen before SECEMP because SHIELD is still around. Pretty much keeps to itself; publication order suggests shortly before SECEMP.

GLA2 1 happens before the kids quit the Avengers and form the Champions. Also, it’s after Tony Stark “dies.” GLA2 1-7 happens fairly quickly, maybe over a week. Deadpool appears in #7 to let the team know they’re all fired and its mentioned that they haven’t even been a team for very long.

M-T5 1-5 happens on its own with no guest stars. Man-Thing also appears in OML2 14-15, DS4 17, SM/DP 15 (part of the ‘Till Death crossover) and then a SECEMP tie-in. M-T5 1-2 were published the same month as SM/DP 15, so I’m leaning toward placing this after that crossover and before SECEMP.

AMERICA 1 does indeed start a school semester. #1 & 2 (1-8) happen over a day or three and the Ultimates and Hawkeye (Kate) (same as HAWK5 4) appear. #2 (9-10) & 3-4 happen at some later point and Moon Girl appears in #2 (9-10) (same month as MG&DDINO 18). #5-6 happen during spring break and Hawkeye (Kate) appears again (same as HAWK5 8-9). In #7, Ms. America finishes a project she’s been working on, so this may be near the end of the semester (so May? And past SECEMP?). #8 (Legacy branded) looks like it’s at the start of the following semester, so we may be into August (and past SECEMP) by this point.

HAWK5 1 was published after AYOM/:UNC (or at least the online version) and should take place after that, which is on Halloween.

HAWK5 1-6 has Kate newly in LA. She’s looking for Brad but gets distracted by another case. Jessica Jones shows up in #5-6 (same as JJ 7-8) already having found Brad. Lucky the pizza dog arrives in town in #6, so this is still pretty early on in her time in LA. All of this lasts a few days or so. #6’s end leads into the next plot which involves Madame Masque posing as Hawkeye, but by #7-8 she’s known as a local super hero, so there has to be a break somewhere. The only spot I’m seeing is after Kate picks up Pizza Dog and before she returns to her office. Yes, she’s talking like she’s introducing Pizza Dog to the place, but whatever. Maybe she redecorated or something. So:

I believe the end of Inhumans Prime and Royals 1 occur much closer to the start of Secret Empire, as in issue 2 the Astarion encounters the Chitauri Swarm at the edge of the solar system, where Flint smashes a hole thru the swarm by flinging Pluto at it (the planet/planetoid/not planet/trans-neptunian object, not the cartoon dog).

Also, CA:SR 12-13 lead straight into TB3 10-12. The Guardians don't appear in these issues. CA:SR 14 is where the Planetary Defense Shield comes on-line. CA:SR 15-16 criss-cross over each other and lead straight into Secret Empire 0.

All of this should occur in short order if possible, and much closer to the start of Secret Empire. [And should probably start the SECRET EMPIRE topic.. ]

I had missed an "earlier" caption in CA:SR 11. That's good! That way, the funeral (the "earlier" flashback) can still be where I have it and the rest can be moved to closer to SECEMP.

I currently have ROYALS 2 about a month after ROYALS 1, and then the Chitauri fleet arrives at Earth about-ish a month after that (in theory, it takes about a month to go from Pluto to Earth *shrug* ). I also have SECEMP tentatively starting on April 1.

MU3 1-5 happens over a few days and is before SECEMP because SHIELD is still around. There’s no reference I see to say how long it’s been since MU2 1-5.

MU3 6 starts a story that’s continued into #7, which is Legacy cover-branded. We should be past SECEMP by this point. Yes, in the beginning pages we see Dum Dum Dugan in a SHIELD outfit (along with one for the new Intelligencia, etc.), but that’s a remembrance caption to remind the readers of the first story. I’m not seeing any SHIELD character appearances past this point, but I do see a mention that SHIELD’s no longer around in #10.

ICE3 1 happens after the X-Mansion has been moved to Central Park. Also, I get the impression it’s around Valentine’s.

ICE3 2 happens on a different day and spans at least two days, but not necessarily two consecutive days. Quentin Quire appears back at the school for one panel (asleep).

ICE3 3 starts soon after #2’s end, maybe a few days? Human Torch, Spider-Man (Peter) and a few other are BTS (sending text messages). Same month as ASM4 30 & PPSSM2 2. Spans one day and the next.

ICE3 4 happens across two days. Daken appears. ICE3 5 starts one the same day as #4’s end and lasts one day. Juggernaut appears, as does Quentin Quire.

ICE3 6 is Legacy-branded and Black Widow’s fate is mentioned, so we’re definitely past SECEMP.

C3 1-5 has Cable following someone around through the timestream; only the last panel of #5 has him in the present day, and even then it’s just of shot of him looking over the city. Really could go anywhere.

C 150 starts another story where Cable has travelled to shortly after XFOR 52, and it’s Legacy-branded, so we’re likely past SECEMP anyway.

C3 1 was published the same month as UA3 23 and really should start after that. I’m not seeing Cable anywhere in Secret Empire, so it looks like it doesn’t really matter.

JG 1 is a one-day adventure in Japan for Jean. After fighting the Wrecking Crew she gets a vision of the Phoenix returning. Published the same month as MT2 19 where Quentin Quire became the Phoenix host, but must be after that. Also, the nu-X-Men appear, same month as X:B 3-4.

JG 2 starts shortly after last issue and has Quire back on the island he came from in MT2 15-19 and is referenced as a former Phoenix host, so there you go. This should definitely go after MT2 19 and most likely before any appearances he makes back at the X-school.

JG 3 happens on either the same day or the day after #2.

JG 4 could either happen shortly after #3, or a bit after. Meaning, it could have taken Jean a while to figure out where unworthy Thor was.

JG 5 has Jean visiting Psylocke to learn how to make weapons with her telekinesis, so shortly after last issue? Jean figures out the voice in her head is real.

JG 6 has Jean visiting Doctor Strange to get rid of the voice in her head, so shortly after last issue? Jean finds out it’s the ghost of regular Jean, who says she’s been a voice in nu-Jean’s head for “weeks.”

JG 7 has regular Jean actively haunting nu-Jean, who visits the Scarlet Witch, then the issue directly continues into the next which is Legacy-branded.

GENS:PHX&JG has nu-Jean popping into the past to meet Phoenix. nu-Jean is currently looking for Phoenix hosts, so after JG 1, but she’s not yet aware the voice in her head is regular Jean’s ghost, so before at least JG 6. In theory, Jean could have been distracted by Secret Empire before visiting Doctor Strange…

GENX2 1-2 has a Quentin flashback to him losing the Phoenix Force, so, you know, after MT2 15-19. Also, a new student is joining the X-school, but I’m not sure that means it’s the start of a semester. A big deal is made about Quire asking to come back to the school. Jubilee does tell the students that they’re trying something new with the curriculum, so maybe it is the start of a semester…

GENX2 3 says the new student has been at the X-school for at least a few weeks. #4 happens on that same night. The Gen X kids find out Monet is eating mutants.

GENX2 5 happens in a day; no mention of how long it’s been since last issue.

GENX2 6-7 happens in a day; Jubilee is looking for Monet. No mention of how long it’s been since #4.

GENX2 8-9 happen in a day. Quentin leaves the X-school. GENX 85 (a Saturday) starts three days after GENX2 9 (a Wednesday), and since this issue is Legacy-branded I’ll say we’re past SECEMP by now.
