I’ll get a list together of possible inclusions at some point, but I got distracted by IvX…

UX4 11-15 happens after CWII:X 1-4, and could be during the tail end of CWII or after. Either way, it’s before IvX.

UINHS 15-17 happens in a night. New Attilan is still under repair from UINHS 11-14. IvX #1 refers to this as “a couple months back” (Dazzler starts posing as a new singer “Lady Shine”). No mention of Ulysses anywhere, but in theory this could still be during the tail end of CWII or after.

UINHS 1.MU has Crystal’s RIV ship, which is destroyed in IvX. So, Monsters Unleashed happens before IvX (they were published at basically the same time).

I hear that Doctor Strange no longer has his Cloak of Levitation in Monsters Unleashed, so Last Days of Magic happens before Monsters Unleashed, right?

A problem with placing IvX after Monsters Unleashed is Triton, who is incarcerated from CWII until he's broken out by Maximus in IvX, but is free and helping the Inhumans during Unleashed. RIV's can be rebuilt..

Dr Strange is shown in his Cloak of Levitation in Monsters Unleashed 2, but this is an art error, and he is drawn correctly in his Cloak of Protection, with no levitation powers, in Dr Strange 1.MU and other appearances.

The Guardians' "Grounded" sequence may help establish a timeline for just-post-CWII stuff:

Star-Lord (2016) 1-6 begins shortly after the end of CWII, and the whole thing takes place before GOTG4 #19 (per an editorial note in #6). The first sequence includes Old Man Logan, Kitty Pryde, Matt Murdock and Abigail Brand. Then there's a break of "two weeks" in #2, after which Ms. Marvel is present; a break of "three days" later in #2, after which Diamondhead and Shocker are present; and a break of "three weeks" between #2 and #3, after which Melter, Jigsaw, Shocker, Diamondhead, Golden Girl, Javelynn, Daredevil and Black Cat are present. (The Star-Lord Annual has to be later, since Groot is tiny.)

Rocket Raccoon (2016) (1-5) happens over just a couple of days, before Star-Lord #6 (per an editorial note in #5), probably between Star-Lord #2 and 3. Miles Morales, Kraven, Lockjaw, Johnny Storm all present.

GOTG4 14 is mostly a flashback to sometime near the end of GOTG3. Only Groot and Rocket appear in the present day.

GOTG4 15 duplicates a scene from (and overlaps with) Infamous Iron Man #1. Of the Guardians, only Ben Grimm appears in the present day.

GOTG4 16 is the Groot issue, and pg. 19 has a whole bunch of characters in it including Dr. Strange in the Cloak of Levitation, but it sure looks like a symbolic montage.

GOTG4 17 involves Gamora being tracked down by America Chavez, Spectrum, Aurora, Sasquatch and Captain Marvel; she's imprisoned at the end of it, and doesn't get free until #19.

GOTG4 18 is the Angela issue, which as I noted a few days ago takes place immediately after GOTG4 12--probably at the same time as GOTG4 13 (from which Angela seems to be absent), and probably even before CWII 6 (20-22).

GOTG4 19 gets the Guardians off Earth again.

Finally, the Guardians Monsters Unleashed special (and therefore the rest of Monsters Unleashed) takes place sometime between GOTG4 13 and 17--Gamora's free but still mad at Quill.

Not at home at the moment so can't check my collection or notes, but from what I remember, IvX happens hot on the heels of Civil War II, and I figured that Uncanny Inhumans #15-17 probably took place during Civil War II, as (if I remember correctly), they don't really deal with the Royals and there is some reference to the events of the Civil War.

I also remembered the issues with the order of Monsters Unleashed and IvX... You have to figure that either the RIV is rebuilt, or that with the monsters roaming around, SHIELD decided to let Triton out temporarily to help out.

I haven't read Monsters Unleashed yet (just that UINHS issue), but if Triton is in it, then yeah, it's after IvX. Characters should be more important than vehicles!

Triton isn't shown in Unleashed 1, but the rest of the team is shown in Italy, battling the Leviathans with Johnny Storm. It's unlikely that the Torch would have flown back to the States to get Triton out of the deep secret prison he's incarcerated in just to fly him back to help out.

Totally Awesome Hulk 1.MU 1/1 [Amadeus Cho and White Fox deal with Xemnu in Seoul, who tells Hulk he has seen what Leviathans do to whole worlds, but his power will make this place invisible to them; Teen-Hulk lets Xemnu have it, and tosses him out to sea]

Totally Awesome Hulk 1.MU 1/2 [Maddy, who has been secretly monitoring Amadeus in Seoul, and has designed an interplanetary communications device, contacts Lady Hellbender for intel on Leviathans, who tells her that if the Leviathans are heading for Earth, the planet must be evacuated]

Champions 1.MU [After school, Kamala Khan watches a news report on protests over Roxxon laying a pipeline thru the Playa del Angeles National Forest, then learning that Roxxon has hired the Freelancers as super-powered security contractors; Kamala contacts the Champions, suggesting they should monitor the situation themselves; the Champions arrive, and field insults by the Freelancers, who suggest they should still be in school, when Miles tells them they’re on EST, and school was over a few hours ago; the Freelancers pick a fight, as Panic turns the protesters against each other; a meteor crashes almost on top of them, and Leviathan bursts out of it; Cyclops tells Might it’s up to the two teams to stop the monster; Viv tells them there are reports of another creature, which made landfall off the coast, destroying the Roxxon drilling platform, and it is being tracked towards LA]

Avengers 1.MU (1-13) [The Amazing Spider-Man meets with Jimmy Dee, who tells Spidey that all five Maggia families are setting up a meet at Durante’s Restaurant in Boston, when Ms Beachum calls to remind Peter he has a flight to Berlin in 8 hours for the Kubert Conference; Spidey assembles the Avengers, and after taking the jet to Boston, they walk into Durante’s; The Controller appears, taking over the minds of Captain Sam & Wasp, and ordering them, along with the Maggia goons, to attack the other Avengers; Thor takes out the Controller, releasing his control over everyone]

Monsters Unleashed 1 (1) ~ Avengers 1.MU (14-15) [11yo NuHuman Kei Kawade draws monsters on his sketchpad; as Spidey tells the Avengers that he has a flight to catch, the Leviathan crashes in Boston]

Avengers 1.MU (16-25:1) ~ Monsters Unleashed 1 (2-10:4) [The Avengers take on the Leviathan; two more Leviathans fall from the sky, landing nearby; as they tackle the newcomers, Vision theorizes that the monsters appear to be working in collaboration]

Avengers 1.MU (30:3-30:6) [Vision reports on Leviathans falling from the sky in Seattle, Los Angeles, London, Venice, Wakanda, and many more locations; Spidey calls Ms Beachum, telling her to reschedule everything on his calendar for the rest of the week, when he tells the Avengers his ears just popped, and he vanishes]

Spider-Man/Deadpool 1.MU (4-30) [Spidey appears in the pentagram created by the witches of St Damia’s School; Spidey tells Deadpool about the Leviathan invasion, when a fiery meteor blazes thru the sky, crashing into a nearby building; Spidey and Wade deal with the Leviathan; Spidey gets a call from Captain Sam, asking him to swing by Toronto to pick him up; Spidey tells Wade the Avengers will be along shortly, and asks for his help, but Wade tells him he has business to attend to]

Guardians of the Galaxy 1.MU [The Guardians take down a Leviathan in San Diego, when Carol Danvers calls Peter Quill to ask his team is holding up; he tells Carol they’re okay, but calling them a team is generous, as Gamora’s so mad at them both that he half expects her to side with the monsters any moment now; Carol asks Peter to stay in San Diego and look after the shipyards, when Sam Wilson contacts Carol, telling her another Leviathan is making landfall in La Jolla; as Quill flies down to the others, Gamora tells him to go to hell, that Thanos is on Earth (she thinks - he has probably already escaped at this point), when another Leviathan attacks; as Drax attacks the monster, Groot picks up Rocket and flees, when the monster grabs Groot and starts to burn him; Rocket tells them the monster is Furnax, and it burned Groot’s home planet, then he grabs Quill’s flying gear while Pete is pinned under rubble, and takes off to help Groot; blasting his way into Furnax, Rocket finds Groot unwilling to free himself, as he considers Furnax to be his natural predator, but Rocket won’t put up with that, and refuses to leave unless Groot goes with him, forcing Groot to put up a fight; just then Quill arrives, flying a navy helicopter, and firing missiles at Furnax; Groot drops Rocket on the deck of aircraft carrier, then dives into the sea after Furnax, destroying it; as they pause for a breather, Carol calls Peter, telling him more Leviathans are coming]

Monsters Unleashed 2 (1-7) [48 hours after initial Earthfall, AFSS picks up a potential world-killer Leviathan approaching Earth, and Captain Marvel heads out with Alpha Flight to intercept; Carol forces the leviathan to turn back, when she sees a dozen more Leviathans approaching Earth; having just dealt with a leviathan in Portland, Sam Wilson speaks to Black Panther via hologram, telling him that Vision calculates a monster attack is occuring somewhere in the world every 15 to 20 minutes; T’Challa tells Sam that another Leviathan has just crashed down in Wakanda; Sam calls for reports via Parker Industries Drone Cameras, Star-Lord asks for help, and Vision tells him he will send Thor as soon as she’s finished in Atlanta; Storm advises that she has called in every mutant team to help, including Magneto’s team, the young X-Men, even the Hellfire Club; Phil Coulson reports that he’s dispatched a SHIELD retrieval team armed with Pym Particles to assist with cleanup in Portland; Medusa reports two Leviathans touching down in Rome, and that she is sending teams of Inhumans to intercept]

Monsters Unleashed 2 (8-22) [The Champions battle a Leviathan in Las Vegas, the Winter Guard battle a Leviathan in Moscow, Storm and Magneto’s X-Men battle a Leviathan at the Hoover Dam, Valkyrie & Warrior Woman battle a Leviathan in Edinburgh; Eric Josten, aka Atlas, battles a Leviathan in Washington DC; Daredevil battles a monster in New York City, which is being evacuated; Moon Girl determines that each creature makes a distinct sound, and that they definitely communicate with each other, and developing a translation device, discovers that their mission is to make way for something far worse; Elsa Bloodstone arrives in Chicago after using Modred’s Causeway to investigate the sites of previous monster incursions which have occurred over the past few months, where she finds her final clue leading to one name, Kei Kawade; in Springfield, Missouri, Kei’s parents tell him to stay indoors during the crisis; as the Guardians of the Galaxy struggle to contain a pair of Leviathans in San Diego, Thor arrives and dispatches them, when another Leviathan rises out of the sea, but Thor quickly dispatches that one as well; as Thor tells them she is needed elsewhere, Drax points out another dozen Leviathans falling from the sky on the outskirts of the city]

Uncanny Inhumans 1.MU (28-30) [As the RIV heads towards San Diego, Crystal visits Swain in the med-bay, when Inferno steps in, telling Crystal they’re nearing San Diego, and it’s time to fight some more Leviathanss; as Inferno mentions monsters, Swain begins transforming again, but is held securely in restraints; as Crystal leaves, she turns, telling Swain they all very proud of her]

Monsters Unleashed 2 (23-30) [Elsa visits Kei, as reinforcements arrive to help out the Guardians, including the Avengers, the Champions, Storm and Magneto’s X-Men, Medusa, Deadpool, and Doctor Strange, another wave of monsters arrives]{Doctor Strange is shown in his Cloak of Levitation, but this must be an error}

Monsters Unleashed 3 (1-9:1) [60 hours after Earthfall, the Avengers & the Champions take up positions to deal with the second group of monsters, which includes Fin Fang Foom, Googam, son of Goom, Tim Boo Baa, & Pildorr the Plunderer, when they find the new group of monsters begins attacking the Leviathans; Fin Fang Foom tells his group that today they fight in defense of Earth; Sam Wilson tells the Avengers & Champions to leave the Leviathans to Earth's monsters, and focus on saving civilians; a SHIELD Helicarrier arrives, and Sam tells Director Maria Hill they need support on the ground with civilians, and to let the monsters handle the fighting]

Doctor Strange 1.MU (1-7) [Strange helps out as best he can, armed with the Axe of Angarruumus, and what limited magic he has available, when he is swept up out of harm’s way by Sam Wilson; when a monster grabs Googam, son of Goom, Stephen places a magic crystal on an arrowhead, firing it into the monster, and teleporting it away, saving Googam’s life]

Monsters Unleashed 3 (9:2-30) [Earth’s monsters defeat the Leviathans, then vanish; Maria Hill tells Sam that the monster attacks are still playing out across the planet, but no more are falling from the sky, and that she’s contacted Damage Control; Elsa Bloodstone appears, telling Sam that she’s been sussing out the source of the monsters, and she tells them to meet Kei, who may be their best hope of stopping the monsters; Spidey arrives with Kei’s parents, as Rocket is taken aback that Kei can understand Groot; Kei explains that he can talk to the monsters he draws, and that if he finishes a drawing, the monster shows up; Sam tells Kei they need a demonstration, and he causes Devil Dinosaur and Moon Girl to materialize; Spidey asks how he developed his powers, when Kei’s mother tells them it was the Terrigen Mists; Lunella tells Kei he’s like her, as Medusa states that he’s an Inhuman, and she calls for Karnak, who has studied the Inhuman legends; Karnak tells them the legends of Universal Inhumans; Captain Sam sums up by saying that the Leviathan Queen is coming for Earth and the Inhuman who is supposed to save the day is an 11yo boy, and Karnak agrees that is the sum of things; off by themselves, Lunella tells Kei she knows what the Leviathans are saying, and that something bad is coming; as the Leviathan Queen emerges from the Desecrated Nest, she is told the Earth has not yet been made ready; asking what could possibly stand in the way of the Leviathan Tide, the leviathans show her the resistance they have met from the super-heroes and military, and tell her there is a Summoner on Earth; the Leviathan Queen tells them to find the Inhuman and exterminate it, and to send her children to crush the resistance]

Monsters Unleashed 4 [As the Leviathans swarm on New York City, they are met by the Avengers, the Champions, and Deadpool, aided by the Kaiju of Earth, including Vandoom, Goom, Klagg, Fin Fang Foom, and the Abominable Snowman; at the Parker Industries Crisis Control Centre, Kei is watched over by Medusa, Karnak, and Elsa Bloodstone, while Moon Girl helps to keep him centred, and plugs her decoder helmet into the building’s systems; Rommbu, Storm and Black Panther battle leviathans in the Golden City, as Shanghai is attacked, and Magneto joins Jean Grey in Cairo; Warrior Woman and Valkyrie deal with an attack in Cape Town, Old Man Logan in New Orleans, and Black Bolt in Sao Paulo, while Wolverine, Inferno, Ren Kimura, Iso, and Spider-Miles stand ready to protect Kei; Luke Cage, Danny Rand, and Devil Dinosaur evacuate civilians ahead of a Leviathan attack in Hell’s Kitchen; Kei teleports Rommbu from Wakanda to Dallas, to aid Drax and Gamora, as Maria Hill reports from the Pericles that the situation in Shanghai has been contained; a gigantic Leviathan appears in Hell’s Kitchen, when Kei teleports Fin Fang Foom in to help out; the Avengers watch more comets falling to Earth; Sam Wilson contacts Dr Strange to ask if the mystics have come up with anything, but Stephen, who is accompanied by Dr Voodoo, Scarlet Witch, Magik, and Shaman, tells him that evacuation to Limbo has been floated as an option, but with magic depleted, they aren’t sure how many they could transport; when a Leviathan crashes into the Sanctum, the Creature from the Black Bog arrives to battle it; as meteors crash into the Baxter Building, Iso and Elsa tell the others that these will be the Leviathan Queen’s assassins; as creatures swarm into the room, Lunella grabs Kei, and Elsa tells Miles to get Kei’s parents to safety; Miles tells Kei to hustle, calling him Kid Kaiju; Devil Dinosaur appears and destroys the assassins; as the team in Midtown watch the Baxter Building under siege, they see green lightning crackle above the building, and the Leviathan Queen-Mother appears]

Monsters Unleashed 5 (1-28) [The Leviathan Mother declares the Nesting Time, calling for the Inhuman Summoner to reveal himself, when she is challenged by Fin Fang Foom; meanwhile Devil Dinosaur has destroyed the assassins sent to kill Kei, when he hears the Mother calling him out; Kei tells them he doesn’t know what more he can do, when Lunella reminds him of the unfinished monsters she saw in his notebook; as they see the Mother approaching, Kei asks Elsa to get his parents out of there, and that he will deal with this; as the Mother sees Kei, she spits out Fin Fang Foom; Kei finishes his drawings, creating Fireclaw, Aegis, Hi-Vo, Mekara, Slizzik, and Scragg, who attack the Mother together; after defeating the Leviathan Mother, the monsters that Kei had summoned gather around him, warning him to use his powers carefully, before they vanish; Maria Hill arrives to supervise the clean-up operation, telling them she has called Damage Control, and she has authorized the use of Pym-Particles to shrink any of the Leviathans that didn’t flee into space; Hill asks Elsa to assist SHIELD with tracking down those that have gone into hiding around the world; Kei tells Hill to call him Kid Kaiju; Sam tells Kei that he could train with the Avengers, the Champions, or the Inhumans, but Kei tells them he just wants to go home for now]

Doctor Strange 1.MU (8-30) [Three days later, Googam calls on Dr Strange to exact revenge for his humiliation during the battle with the Leviathans; Strange tells Googam that he too was humiliated, resorting to magic he did not fully understand, and teleporting the Leviathan away, where it is possibly endangering others, and that he fashioned a compass, attuned to the residual magic of the creature, telling Googam they have an opportunity to find it and stop it; five hours later, Stephen flies a PI jet over Nunavut, accompanied by Googam, who flies alongside, when he gets a call from Spidey, asking how it’s going; just then, Stephen’s compass starts going wild, and a wing is broken off the jet, which is broght to a safe landing on the ice near Mount Asgard by Googam; after defeating the Leviathan, Stephen thanks Googam for his help, telling him he is a formidable ally, and they shake hands, when Spidey arrives]

A note on Deadpool:

The Schaefer Theater is still intact in DP&MFM2 1-3, so that has to be sometime before UA3 9-12.

The theater has been smashed up as of DP&MFM2 4-6, and an editorial note (requested by Deadpool himself!) indicates that it's after UA3 10 (and therefore after UA3 9-12).

DP6 20 is not time-sensitive.

SM/DP 12 is Christmas Eve, post-Civil War II. It's after Deadpool "killed [Peter Parker] twice," if that helps placing other issues of SM/DP.

DP6 21-24 seems to go from later the same Christmas Eve to shortly after Christmas; in #22, the Schaefer Theater seems to mostly have been repaired.

DP6 25 is another 2099 issue.

DP&MFM2 7-8 are during IvX, which can go, really, anywhere between DP&FMF 6 and "Til Death Do Us..."

DP6 26-27 are on and around Valentine's Day.

"Til Death Do Us..." goes DP6 28, SM/DP 15, DP&MFM2 9, SM/DP 16, DP&MFM2 10, DP6 29.

DP6 30 involves Sif, Rocket and Ego; its last two pages lead into Deadpool's Secret Empire plot, but can easily accommodate a break before them.

And then there's the rest of Spider-Man/Deadpool. The big ongoing plot is the story in SM/DP 1-5, 8-10, 13-14 and 17-18; Wade's face is healed by the end of #5, and is not ruined again until #18. #6 was dealt with a while ago, #7 is a dubiously canonical flashback, #11 is the Penn & Teller issue (which is placement-neutral, and we don't see Deadpool's face), #12 see above, #15-16 are part of "Til Death Do Us..."

SM/DP 19-20 are a two-parter with Slapstick; SM/DP 21-22 are a two-parter with Arcade and Young Cyclops; both of them can really go anywhere in the Parker Industries era.

Dr Strange is wearing his Cloak of Levitation and performing major magical feats throughout Civil War II. I don't have reference for Michael Hawthorne appearing in CWII, but he was also killed in Deadpool 9 (2013), and was brought back to life after negotiating with Mephisto. If he did die during CWII, perhaps something similar happened again.

He does, but it's still scruffy (at least to my eyes). His beard's scruffy in SLORD2 1 & 2 (1-3) and completely filled in by SLORD2 2 (4-17).

DS4 12 happens on a “Monday and Tuesday.” DS4 13 happens on that same Tuesday into Wednesday. DS4 14-16 is still on that same Wednesday. Also, Satana knows Tony Stark isn’t around any more. Wong is possessed at the end of DS4 16 (October 24-26?).

DS4 17 has Doctor Strange still looking for Wong. #19 says Wong has been gone for “days.” Obviously, Wong can’t make any appearances in the middle.

DS4 17-19 happen pretty quickly, like over a day. Thor guest stars. Wong is rescued.

DS4 20 happens at a later point and Wong is “still recovering.” At the end Wong leaves the Sanctum, so any appearances of him with Strange or in the Sanctum will have to go before this.

DS4 21 is a SECRET EMPIRE tie-in.

Wong appears in DS4 1.MU (same month as DS4 17), so either before DS4 12 or between DS4 19-20. Wong’s not doing anything strenuous, so probably between DS4 19-20.

I see Wong is in UA3 19-21 (same months as DS4 16-18), but I haven’t read those yet.

I see Wong has a cameo In PATSYWAHCAT 17 as does Doctor Strange (same month as DS4 19), so I’ll probably have to read that too at some point. But, probably between DS4 19-20.

-DP&MFM2 1-3 (HQ still fine)-

UA3 15-17 picks up very shortly after #14. Quicksilver’s leg is already healed, but it was mentioned it would happen quicker than normal. Also, it’s before IvX. In UA3 17 Rogue says that “Tony Stark’s down and out” when talking about other dead characters, but since this is the day after Hulk’s funeral that can’t possibly be right. She must be talking about his company being in the tank. Also, Deadpool’s Avengers HQ is still wrecked.

-DP&MFM2 4-6 (HQ wrecked)-

UA3 18-22 (all in one night into the next morning) starts at some later point. Deadpool says he’s been wearing his Avengers watch for “weeks,” but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. In #22, Cap says it’s been “months” since #14. Wong appears and is using magic, so likely before DS4 12. MAYBE before DS4 4. It’s still before IvX. Also, Deadpool’s Avengers HQ is fixed up.

UA3 23 seems to happen the day after #22.

SCRW2 10 has the Scarlet Witch in Japan for a day or so.

The Scarlet Witch appears in PM&IF3 10 (same month as SCRW2 12) alongside a bunch of other heroes, Doctor Strange still has his Cloak of Levitation.

SCRW2 11-12 & 13-FB has the Scarlet Witch researching her family for a day or so. SCRW2 13-14 is “six weeks” later, and she’s been busy the whole time (meaning, no appearances for her elsewhere). In theory, before UA3 22-23 because Wanda thinks Wonder Man is still trapped inside Rogue. Or at least start before UA3 22-23, and then maybe Wonder Man could return during the “six weeks” (because she wouldn’t know about it).

SCRW2 15 has the Scarlet Witch back to doing her thing and ready to rejoin the Avengers.
