What happened to supermegamonkey?
Hi guys.
For those of you who follow(ed) the supermegamonkey marvel chronology website, do you know what happened there?
It seems updates are over forever. It's a shame if that's the case...
Best regards from a fellow chronology addicted (albeit just for x-men related stuff)

That's too bad. I didn't follow the site closely, but I like the way it's set up and enjoyed the reviews. I've always had the plan to look through it more thoroughly but never seem to find the time...
Hopefully everything's OK with him and maybe he'll get back into it (but from the message on his homepage it doesn't sound like it).
In any case, welcome to the MCP, Beifica!

I think personally, he's fine, just...moving on to other things. He still posts--a LOT--on his site, just not in the Marvel stuff.
I can't promise you that things will improve, if we make changes;

Cool. That's good news at least (that he's personally doing well).
Thanks!

I use this site on a daily basis since I intend to read every single x-men comic and organize them correctly (I'm currently in Phase One of Onslaught, in case you're wondering)
I find the work put into this site invaluable for my read!
Best regards
Re: What happened to supermegamonkey?
I like to think i have a decent collection (50+ boxes of Marvel only), but i don't have everything. Since starting this project i've found myself hitting the back issue bins a bit more to pick up some milestones, but i still can't afford everything and i'm also running out of physical space! I list what i'm missing (up to the current year i'm working on) on the What's Missing page. If you notice that i'm missing something that isn't listed there, please let me know (but also check the Out of Scope page first).

Welcome to the Project, slide9595.
Ummmm…Why would you quote an obscure paragraph from supermegamonkey's site?
You're not...a spammer, are you? If so, I applaud your ingenuity at getting your first post approved. I guess we'll see, in the coming days.

Re: What happened to supermegamonkey?
A few words to say that I went on the site today and saw a subject concerning the year 1995.at the top of the topic there is this little sentence:
"This is the year i'm currently working on. Entries and placement are subject to change without notice."
Anyone know if fnord is back for good or if this topic has been around for a long time? i don't remember he was working on 1995 thread before he left off

Re: What happened to supermegamonkey?
He's adding some new issue in the last months... The last update in a week ago, more or less... He doesn't keep track of what he is adding, so it isn't easy to notice all the new entries... He stopped to buy old comics so he is adding only things from his collection, so sometimes are single issues from series out of context...
