Marvel Action
A heads-up that the Marvel Action line--aimed at younger readers and published by IDW--starts today with Marvel Action Spider-Man #1. It's definitely not 616, or any continuity we've seen before: 16-year-old Peter Parker is palling around with Miles Morales and (Spider-)Gwen Stacy. I'm going to be very curious to see if the Marvel Action Avengers and Black Panther series are set in the same continuity; the latter is written by Kyle Baker!

A follow-up to this: the various Marvel Action titles, though published by IDW, are turning up on Marvel Unlimited. They are definitely off in a continuity of their own, but this project's contributors may enjoy some of them a lot--especially the extremely silly current Marvel Action Avengers series, written by Katie Cook. #2 involves Paste-Pot Pete being, uh, less of a menace than he's ever been before.
