Note: Since the original numbering begun with Ms. Marvel I#1 is resumed for Marvel Legacy, this series begins with issue #125. It should actually begin with issue #129 but somebody at Marvel miscounted the number of issues in the various series and specials that starred Carol Danvers.

I’m not sure what "volume" of Captain Marvel this series should be. Some people consider this series to be Captain Marvel volume 11. Others think that reverting to the original numbering means that these issues are part of Captain Marvel volume 1. And still others think that this series should be a continuation of Captain Marvel volume 7 because that was the first series to star Carol Danvers as "Captain Marvel" instead of "Ms. Marvel."

For myself, unless someone tells me otherwise, I’m going to regard this series as a continuation of the Captain Marvel v10 series that was briefly interrupted by the Mighty Captain Marvel series.
