The only Conan appearing in this flashback is the "present day" Conan being told/shown past events. Laynnen is present both past (as a baby) and present (fully grown), but Conan is not present, and this should be removed from his chronology, or alternatively he could be shown as being off panel (the narration indicates Conan was present when Leynnen first arrived at the village). Again I would favour it being removed entirely.
