Spider-Man Doctor Octopus Year One

Spider-Man Doctor Octopus Year One is in the non-canon list. It faithfully follows both Ock's background from SMU 3 and the sequence of events from ASM 3 (accident, wakes up in hospital, escapes hospital, goes to Nuclear Center, defeated there by Spider-Man and taken away by army). So it was clearly intended to be canonical. It does not seem more radical a retelling than those of Avengers 1 in A:O by Casey, of Captain America's revival in CA:MOOT by Waid, of Bucky's origin by Brubaker, which have all been worked in. So it can be reconciled with ASM 3 as well.

Zeb Wells also refers to it in ASM (2023) #27.
