Silver Surfer: Parable

The 1988-1989 limited series by Moebius has a code, SS:P, is not in the Out-of-Continuity list and yet is not in the index.

In issue 2 the Surfer reminds Galactus of his pledge never to attack Earth (#50, page 9). The series is consistent with the depictions of the Surfer in 1968 (which are the issues that Giraud was most familiar with).

At the end of issue 2, the Surfer issues threats to mankind (so they don't idolize him).

In FF #72 the Surfer does attack mankind to unite them against him.

I always forget to check the alternate continuities.

I was looking at the Surfer's early continuity for the story in Marvel Age 1000. Maybe that story would fit better in that continuity as well, given McNiven's emulation of Moebius's style. I would be all for a collection of the GN, Epic Illustrated 1 story, Parable and McNiven's story.
