The radioactive spider

Post by Leoparis »

The radioactive spider has its own entry!

PPSSM 60/2 (4:3 - 4:4) is the same as AFSY 15 (3:2 - 3:3).

In SM:FEVER 2 there are three flashbacks, the first one combines three panels (3:1, 3:4 & 3:6) from page 3 of AFSY 15. The spider is not seen as it is between Peter's hands = AFSY 15 (3:4).

The second one is the Burglar shooting Uncle Ben in front of Aunt May = ASM 200 (25:7). Does not involve the spider.

The third is the spider being irradiated AFSY 15 (3:3) = AFSY 15 (3:3). It is clearly visible.

So I don't see what the line SM:FEVER 2-FB-BTS could refer to. None of these 3 flashbacks, including the first which would match the BTS tag, occur before panel AFSY 15 (3:2) where the spider first appears.

The spider bites Cindy Moon in ASM3 1-FB before being squashed.

One of the two spiders was then eaten by Carl King, the bully who tormented Peter and witnessed the incident, who became the monster The Thousand, composed of spiders.
The other spider escapes years later during a confrontation between Green Goblin, Spider-Man and Silk (not sure if this is a reference to an exact story) and becomes a kind of spider hero...
There is supposedly a giant spider running around New York City being a vigilante in recent years....
No idea what this Green Goblin fight is, Clone Conspiracy is the only story I know where Cindy and Peter are around a Green Goblin.
