Can somebody point me to the discussions about the placements of Punisher Year One and Elektra:Assassin? Some of you have shown an ability to navigate the archives.
Placement with 1970 issues for P:YO seems early to me for somebody who did four tours of duty in Viet-Nam. By comparison, Wyatt Wingfoot who enrolled for college in FF 50, May 66, graduates in FF 138, Sept 73. (A ratio of two years for one.)
If Castle enrolled in 1965, his four years would bring him to 1972-73 issues.
Note: the upcoming Get Fury series places Castle in Vietnam in 1971.
As for Elektra: Assassin I distinctly recall it was taking place during a presidential election year, yet it appears with 1974 issues in our timeline.
