What are the next three books to be indexed?
I'm guessing Hulk, more Spider Man and maybe more X-Men (New Mutants or X-Factor).

Re: What are the next three books to be indexed?
Well, if I had to guess, and this is only a guess, by analyzing the recurring trends of the last two installments, we have Indexes of two Silver Age characters and one Silver Age group. Plus the series would probably be long enough to have write-ups that take up over a dozen Index issues. Plus two of the Index characters coincided with movie releases of said characters.

In the last two installments, three characters coincided with movie releases (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America). And Avengers isn't too far off.by analyzing the recurring trends of the last two installments... two of the Index characters coincided with movie releases of said characters.

And tying it into movies is why the next volume will be Howard the Duck, Man-Thing and Power Pack.Russ Chappell wrote:In the last two installments, three characters coincided with movie releases (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America). And Avengers isn't too far off.

Now it's official, and I must say I didn't see it coming !
The chronicle of the Marvel Universe returns, delving into the history of three more of the House of Ideas’ most enduring titles! Return with us to the far-out ’70s and the gritty ’80s as we launch our coverage of Wolverine (from 1982’s WOLVERINE #1), the Punisher (from 1986’s PUNISHER #1) and Ghost Rider (from 1972’s MARVEL SPOTLIGHT #5). Watch the Marvel Universe’s history unfold month by month as each issue provides synopses for dozens of individual comics, including backup strips — introducing the characters, teams, places and equipment that appeared within; and providing vital information about first appearances, where they last showed up and where they appeared next!
64 PGS./Rated A …$3.99

It's official all right!
(Yes yes I see the typo on Ghost Rider's contents.)
What does everyone think?

Re: What are the next three books to be indexed?
I would have loved a Fantastic Four / Hulk / Daredevil, but this one will do too
Will this serie have 14 issues too ? Even with multiple titles, various limited series and one-shots, it seems hard for these characters to reach the more than 600 issues of Amazing Spider-Man or Avengers, no ?

Re: What are the next three books to be indexed?
No, this series will be shorter than the previous two. That's one of the reasons these contents were selected -- the previous series were *intended* to be twelve issues each, but both of them managed to creep beyond that. This short series is intended to "reset the clock".
It also ties into the Ghost Rider and Wolverine movies slated for 2012, as well as the recent relaunches of Punisher and Ghost Rider. All around, it's covering some pretty timely material. I'm excited.

Re: What are the next three books to be indexed?
When they indexed Thor, they put in a well written synopsis of all his pre-JIM #83 appearances which described his centuries long life. I hope they do the same fo Wolverine's complex history.
