Re: Chronology: Master Plan of the Mandarin to Birth of Franklin Richards
A flashback is missing in the list. Spider-Man appears on TV in a flashback cameo during Thor 148 (10:3). While it could have been just a cartoon appearance, Marvel Index for Spider-Man lists it between ASM 56 and ASM 57. So this is most likely a news report about Spider-Man's involuntary alliance with Doctor Octopus.

The thing is, Thor, Sif and Balder are watching tv in the here and now of Thor 148. While Spider-Man may well have been caught on film between AMS 56 & 57, and is listed as such in Spider-Man's detailed character chronology, we see no such flashback of his being filmed at that time, and it falls outside of the parameters of this overall chronology.RobinHoodMtl wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 1:16 pm A flashback is missing in the list. I understand what you mean. Since the image shows nothing else than the character, I would have attributed it to a TV show, but given that the official index is quite canon and provides a chronological spot for this appearance, I thought it relevant to bring the matter here. However, because this cameo brings nothing at all to Spider-Man's story line, I can totally live with this omission in your list.StrayLamb wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 3:26 am The thing is, Thor, Sif and Balder are watching tv in the here and now of Thor 148. On page 7 panel 4 of Daredevil 39, Foggy tells Karen about seeing Daredevil pushing Debbie aside "yesterday". That was the same day when Doomed switched body with him and back, fought the Fantastic Four, then in the first part of DD 39, foiled the Unholy Three's attempt to steal a safe before going to bed. So the Daredevil 39-41 arc cannot be that far away in the list. Right now there are about 55 lines separating it from the end of his adventure with the Fantastic Four. Of course, the Thor segment that ends in Thor 153 can't easily be broken (those Gods don't seem to sleep!). But there is a small pause after the battle against Ulik when Thor sends Sif to the hospital and Odin interrupts his fight against Loki to inform him of the new threat (Mangog). But the Daredevil arc should go right after. Then in Thor 154, Thor has been waiting for Odin's sign to come to Asgard anyway.StrayLamb wrote: ↑Fri Feb 01, 2019 12:29 am Master Plan of the Mandarin to Birth of Franklin Richards

Or maybe there is a reason why there is only one issue between DD 41 and DD 42, but I'm not there yet. DD 39 could be split after 7:2, but since it's only a short night, I don't see the point. But the first part of the book definitely occurs the same day as FF 73.

I would say this has been placed simply based on the character indexes. These lists begin as a core based on the combined character indexes, then they get refined as you and i and others have the time to do a more thorough examination of each issue.RobinHoodMtl wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2025 1:37 amOr maybe there is a reason why there is only one issue between DD 41 and DD 42, but I'm not there yet. Re: Chronology: Master Plan of the Mandarin to Birth of Franklin Richards
I've slightly rearranged DD 35-38 & T 147-150. There seemed to be too much time passing in the DD issues for it to all happen while Thor was unconscious. Also, the Untold Legend of Captain Marvel 3 epilogue was moved out to an earlier position. Updates in BOLD.

Re: Chronology: Master Plan of the Mandarin to Birth of Franklin Richards
I think I noticed a little out of order error in the list, the Ms Marvel issue
Amazing Spider-Man 53-54
Alpha Flight 9/2 (5 - 8)
Ms Marvel 25 (1 - 3)-FB
Ms Marvel 25 (11 - 15)-FB
X-Men 40
Avengers 46 [September]
I think it should be a bit further down after Captain Marvel 1-3 and also should be named Ms marvel II, right? From 2008. The volume 1 issue #25 with Mystique I just couldnt get to fit here
Avengers 54-55
Marvel Super-Heroes 12-13
Captain Marvel 1-3
Ms Marvel II 25 (1 - 3)-FB
Ms Marvel II 25 (11 - 15)-FB
Fantastic Four 74-79
Iron Man 3 (7:5 - 20) [Mid-July]
So fun doing these lists and read everything in order....got a couple of years to kill
