Re: Daken's real name? (edited)
Japanese names are traditionally rendered with the family name first and the given name second, which might have been what Osborn was doing when he referred to him as "Daken Akihiro". More likely that it was an error, though.

Re: Image from Punisher #6 (2009)
Scourge didn't make an actual on-panel appearance in the white skull-mask outfit until after the original Scourge arc was over; that outfit actually debuted in his OHOTMU entry. If this is an actual flashback image, it definitely isn't a flashback to the death of any of the villains he's known to ha...

Re: Elektra & Wolverine: The Redeemer
As far as I can tell, the reason that E&W:R was originally assumed to be non-canonical was in the promo material surrounding the mini that stated that this was the characters' first meeting, even though it wasn't, and IIRC there's no indication one way or the other in the story itself. Kind of l...

Re: Now how about Wolfpack?
Namorita referenced them offhand in NW 1 (IIRC), and their entry in the OHOTMU Update '89 didn't give any indication that they weren't in the Marvel Universe proper, so the Wolfpack comics probably are canonical.

Re: End of the golden age?
For Marvel, the end of the Golden Age is often pegged to when Captain America Comics became the non-superhero horror series Captain America's Weird Tales. Cap and the Red Skull appeared in the lead story of CAWT 74 (1949), and AFAIK no superhero characters (not even Cap) appeared in CAWT 75 (1950). ...

Re: What's Barrington's deal?
As far as I can tell, Barrington's only on-panel appearances are in MAV2 1-4, though I don't have those issues here. According to GENX 61, the "Barrington" who appears in GENX '95 is actually Black Tom Cassidy in disguise, though I'd guess that the character appearing in GENX '95 was meant...

Re: DP3 35-FB and Cap & Crossbones 1
And just to confirm...DPOOL3 35-FB is one flashback that occurs at one point in time, yes? There are multiple flashbacks in that comic, but the Wizard, Taskmaster, Constrictor, Thing and Franklin all appear in the same flashback: Deadpool joins with the other three villains to form a short-lived ne...

Re: Other company's characters
The Battle-Axis from INV2 were all superheroes from other publishers who were appropriated as supervillains in that series. All of them have their non-Marvel appearances listed.

Re: Complete list of Namor's 1940s/50s and 2000s appearances?
Supernaturals was set in an alternate universe. Unless there was a framing sequence or crossover into Earth-616 that I'm unaware of, any characters appearing in that series are alternate versions that only appeared in that series.

Re: 80's FF 1 (was: Error in Thanos chronology)
If anything, Clinton presiding over Cap's first Avengers term would suggest that FF 1 takes place in the early-to-mid 90s according to the current state of the shifting timeline.

Re: Marvel Graphic Novel: Emperor Doom
There are a couple of other characters on that page who don't have M/GN 27 listed in their chronologies. In addition to Storm and Wolverine, there's also Black Knight/Dane Whitman, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, and Thing. The white guy in the blu...

Re: Hellcat - solo stories?
Depends on whether or not the Patsy Walker/Patsy & Hedy comics were included.jephyork wrote:Hell of a short Index THAT'LL be.
There's also a Patsy Walker/Hellcat story in What The--?! #7.
